I waterproofed my origjnal m365 pro with gaskets and silicone. Once the battery cover was screwed back in I applied more clear silicone liberally in multiple coats. I never had an issue with water damage but it should be something you keep on top of in terms of ensuring a good amount of silicone is applied. A cover for the dash is a must in heavy rain as neither the 365 pro or the pro 2 have a waterproof gasket around the housing. It's just glue. I'm just following the same process with my new PRO2. If I didn't feel comfortable riding in rain it'd hardly get used as I live in the UK and it's always raining.

Thats the worst suggestion you can give a scooter rider. You cannot drive with one hand on a eletric scooter at high speed unless you wanna fall down. Its not a bike, you cannot push the psycihs.

I did this yesterday and my only issue is the shell doesn't sit as flush and the bottom section where the power button is, when pressed down, acts as a power button😭😂

In Malaysia the ninebot max is the one they use to hire, and they leave them out on the street in heavy rain no issues.

I've got the Xiaomi m365. I have the waterproof cover for the display and other than that nothing else and use it every day for getting to work. I live in Wales so we get loads of rain and I've never had an issue. When I get where I'm going I wipe it dry and don't fold it down as this makes excess moisture go towards the display. I'm not saying you won't get any issues but I never have.

Xiaomis are IP54. They survive heavy rain. Just dont submerge them. I've seen many in rain, they are solid.

At first my scooter was not turning on I thought it was my dashboard so I changed it to this but still not working it’s not my battery because the day before I checked and the health was 98

It has IP54 rating.

I also did it but I lost bluetooth connection. I think it is important to do un ungrade before the swap.

If there's rain on the ground and/or it's slightly raining, you'll be fine. Just avoid going over any puddles. Heavy rain I'd say no. If you do ride in the rain the main thing is when you get home dry it off right away so any water can't set.

can you recommend where to try? like on pavement, grass or dirt?

Had to switch mine back to the original dash to upgrade the firmware, then install the new dash again.

BULL MAN, Ive had both pro 1 and 2 for the past 2 years and been riding almost everyday in rainy weather and not once had a problem. make sure the front wheel doesnt get submerged uptill the bearings and you'll NEVER have a poblem . stick a piece of tape over the power button too. and it wont charge if the charge port is wet so blow it dry before charging after driving in wet weather....

Any way to get all 3 modes to work. Eco, drive and sport?

i ride my m365 essential in the rain and some a bit of flooding for like 3 months now. i use my scooter to go to work everyday and still doing great.. i water tight every possible way water can get in. the hardest part to water tight is the bearing in the hub motor 😂 since there is no way u can water tight it but you can put water repellent grease on it to push water out.. P.S: do not dismantle ur hub motor if you not gonna add rubber seal after doing so. that will give easy way for water to get into the electric components inside.

I bought my scooter today it was pouring rain today very heavy in London I was riding 9 miles to get home.. Thank god my scooter survived as my scooter was in the rain for the whole 9 mile journey home. Now that I’m home I put cello tape on the power button and all the open seals so water can’t get it as easy as it should

Is that an m365 original which has been upgraded to a pro display ? Asking because the PRO all have black bells. Also did you install them grips yourself ?

I am planning to get a Xiaomi scooter as well, but I would love to hear your thoughts about the comparison between the M365 and the new 1S! I am not quite sure which one to get, either a used M365 which has the little better battery and is cheaper, or a new 1S which has the display and the improved wheel cover, but is more expensive as well... What would you say, would love to hear your thoughts! Another short question: can I ride during winter time, if there is no snow on the streets and I drive carefully?
