Well, it's not like Tien and Android 16 could not have beaten the crap out of cell while he was absorbing 17. It probably would have stopped him mid absorption. But then again, is it really absorbing if they are regurgitated back up when cell gets beaten up too bad. It is almost like they are inside him and he is just using their energy like they were batteries.

This saga still gives me chills. When cell kills all those people, including killing that rich guy. Trying to absorb 17 the first time and you see the inside of his tail. Then of course absorbing 18 while she was blinded.

Its cool that 16 knew Tien was there the whole time, but never said anything about it until he warned him to "get out of here." 16 was a great character.
