That was the answer, but what was the question? Not much doubt that you can mount a tubeless capable tyre with a (compatible, unpunctured) tube on pretty much any rim. The question I was interested in was <<Can You Put a Tubeless Tire on a Standard Bike Rim, tubeless?>>. A much more complex question. The answer for me was << 'yes' but you may not be able to inflate it>>

yo for those that are trying to get a new chain or a anything that relates to your chain, your speed count is only the back stack not both front and back, the front is the ratio, the back is your speed, the front gears on a bike is like what sports cars have, which is a drive mode, street mode, sport mode, and race mode, but those are not your primary gears for speed, so to actually figure out what speed your bike is, its just the back stack, like for example, my 2005 Ferrari GT Custom has 9 gears in the back and 3 up front, I still have a 9 speed.

I just picked up a new bike last week having V-brakes. For the most part I've always simply thought of any rim brakes as caliper brakes or conventional brakes. Having been back to riding a road bike for the last year, having rim brakes, it's made for a good reacquaintance with the system, so that having this city hybrid with the V-brakes seems naturalized. Fron '17 to '23 I only had disc brakes on several bikes. Pros and cons with both, but for any ice and snow over the winter, or even being caught in the rain, I sure prefer the disc type. In the dry, I feel that the V-brakes do indeed have plenty enough for mechanical stopping force. Fact is rim brakes do suit my conventionality with bikes.
@diymountainbike14 күн бұрын
I prefer hydraulic disc brakes, but v brakes are good. The quality of the components plays a big roll in how well they work. I've noticed that components that flex under load can be an issue. Thanks for the comment, keep pedalling 🚴🚴

@@diymountainbike yeah just make the titles clearer, eh so its clearer what it is ... and actually to answer that question (or this video) you should probably show how to remove the valve core (which tools etc) ... anyway I found what I wanted elsewhere - you use the notch on the chain tool to remove the core - I knew it was something kooky!
