Honest to God mystic quest is still a better final fantasy game than 12 13 or 15. Also Jared I feel you kind of undersold how good the music is in this game the music is definitely the biggest highlight of the game.

Grandia 1+2+3, my favorite game series of all time

I liked the theory that Rinoa is Ultimecia in another timeline. For me It would've been better had Adel been the main antagonist. She reminds me of All For One from MHA, the true villain pulling the strings in the background. Using Edea as a vessel to possess and when that fails she sends the group through an alternate timeline in order to make a reality where Rinoa can be her next Vessel. But Final Fantasy 8 was a prototype of a game. The powers that be at Square don't even want to touch this entry of the series that's how you know that FF8 was just that, an experiment on what to do next.

Watching your Final Fantasy series review I have to say while you make solid points that's hard to argue unfortunately this one I'm gonna have to disagree with!! I've played FF2 on the PS1 Final Fantasy Origins as well as the Dawn Of Souls GBA version and Pixel Remaster on PS5!! While I do agree it's definitely not up there amongst the greatest of Final Fantasys I still found this one to be more enjoyable and tolerable then FF3!! I know FF3 the 3D remake on DS and PSP named their characters and actually gave them development to serve FF3 justice but after playing both FF2 and FF3 pixel remaster back to back I can see why it took FF3 so long to make it to the U.S. This is of course just my opinion but I think FF3 is my least favorite over all!! I've played 1-10 minus 4 and 8 haven't gotten to them yet but will here pretty soon!! Also played 10-2!! 12 the 13 trilogy and 16 I don't count them because while I've played a bit of them to get a feel for the story and the battle system I don't count just making it to the first save or just simply playing 1 hour of a big game like Final Fantasy!! Haven't played the MMOs or Spin Offs nor the remakes prequels or sequels (besides 10-2) I have played about 40 hours of 15 and aside from FF3 I'd say FF15 is definitely on the bottom of my personal list!! My favorite Final Fantasy game is also my favorite video game of all time would be FF9!! In my opinion FF9 is the best not just for being my personal favorite but you can really see the fantasy setting it has to offer plus paying homage to the games that came before as well as being a big love letter for the series and the best part of all and probably most frustrating at the same time the E2PG challenge!! Nothing tops that in my opinion for how frustrating yet how rewarding it is!! BTW aside from my disagreement I enjoy watching your videos ProJared!! I've subscribed!!

Your 90s thing was a bust, your let's play channel is a bust. Don't you see a pattern in all of this? We like your reviews, your skits and your essays on classic videogames. I you just don't want to do them anymore and focus on lazy let'splays and vods it's fine, but at least let the ProJared review fans that you don't want to make content like that anymore so we can stop waiting on you.

I used the guide, it didn’t make you overpowered. That’s didn’t happen until towards the end where you could use the gun character and letting off a bunch of pulse shots all doing 9999 damage.

I think more people should state that these things are just their opinions, I, for one, hat......alright maybe hate is too strong of a word but strongly disliked all the mini games in FF7: Rebirth, more specifically the ones that are absolutely forced on you, meaning, you can't proceed with the main quest if you don't complete said mini games. The overall silliness and lack of solid story-telling, was enough for me, to just quit, I made it to about cosmo-canyon, after that, I was done. Both FF7R and FF7:RB are nothing more then Final Fantasy 7 bloatware, you get about 3-4 hours of story-telling spread out over 60 plus hours. These hours are filled with overly long introductions, silliness, goofiness, meaningless banter and yes of course all those miserable dreaded mini games. Now this is just my opinion of course, there is no right or wrong here, I am a person who generally dislikes mini games in jrpgs period but FF7:RB went overboard with it imho. .....I feel like I wasted 80 bucks and that'll be the last FF game that I ever preorder!

Maybe they could start doing an additional side quest series involving the Bard in Mor Dhona. It would be a retelling of the 1.0 story itself. Something where you interact with that bard at various spots in the current world. He tells you something of the old MSQ, and you see transparent spectors of the WoL interacting with the Scions or other NPCs in the OG ones. Even add in new versions of any old dungeons and raids. It could be something that starts to happen at the end of each expansion, and go over a few of them. Additional ways for us to have something to do.

Monsters in dungeons don't give XP! They used to, but they did exactly the redistribution you mentioned.

Did a little google and apparently the breeders go out automatically to make new colonies when you have 20 of them. That's probably how you're supposed to win.
