Sick. My brain tells me the downbeat is the 2nd beat, which makes the tune sound weirder and cooler due to where you throw that snare roll in etc. Very cool. Slow proggy acid techno vibes. Very cool. I'd play it

Are you sequencing the tr8s with the 707 sequencer or separately?

Main CR-78 pattern is sequenced from the 707. There's another 16 step pattern on the TR-8S with additional BD, SD, OH and CH that I bring in/out with the TR-8S faders. 707 is master clock and TR-8S is a slave. The 16 step pattern on the 8S runs continuously

@@Alpha-DX i have pretty much the same setup except the td3 and experimenting with dawless. I sequence the tr8s as well with the 707 but this is not ideal. I would rather just have a pattern select in the 707 but have the patterns themselves edited in the tr8s itself.

Yeah it's USB out into Ableton for recording but it's only 1 stereo track out. You seem to have the space in your gaff, I dont so if I were you I'd be looking at Tascam model 12 or upwards. Awesome mixer, if I had the space I'd be all over it....

ITS MAD Dude!!!! A month or so ago I got a Crazy 🤪 Urge to do some vinyl shopping on Ebay and to my shame turned on 1 of my Beloved 1210s for the first time in over a year 😮😢 and whilst sifting through came across a bunch of Early 90s Jungle Rave i hadn't listened to in over 12 years but when the needle HiT the Vinyl my Hair stud Up , Like a Brush !!! 😅 That Old skool " BOOMING SUB BaSS & Those Snares and crashing Ride Cymbals ❤❤❤😮 I IMMEDIATELY Started Planning a Jungle Tune incorporating AciD & Electro!!! 😊 and ive been Slowly chipping away at it !! I now want to wait till I've got the Sound 🔊 sorted as you HAVE TO be able to feel those SuB Bass lines and now , being able to use an "EDGE " Is MOUTHWATERING 😊😊 jaffa j.

I DON'T F#@KING BELIEVE IT !!!!!! 😮 I Was wondering why I hadn't received your latest vids and now I find im not subbed because half the Data from my last phone 📱 didn't get transferred to my new one !!!! Im having a Complete studio Meltdown Bro.!!!! And last night I couldn't get into my own channel as my shittie Laptop had some dodgy reset i can't get my head around!!!!!! My new phone doesn't show my channel Logo, my 707s midi Thru.stopped working ie.to half my setup and that's just for starters 😢😢😮 !!!! BUT WAIT !!! .............. There's a Break in the Clouds Dude!!!! Im Long Overdue, a "" Rub of the Green "" and some $$$ are coming my way 😊 So of course a New Computer 🖥 is Top of the list and FINALLY a chance to Sort out my Sound 🔊 Quality issues, so im trying to figure out what would suit my setup best , including my Drum kit and Dj setup for Live sets !!!! Do you use Abelton or different music software to record your Audio 🔉 and Video 📹???? Thanks my man and I'll get back to you on your latest Hits 😊😊😊jaffa

The TR-8S works quite well when sequenced from the 707 and gets around the 128 step limit of a pattern. You can also use the 8S purely as a mixing console or the drums this way. I use Ableton Live to record in from the mixer via USB. All I do then is export and and normalise it to a . wav file and that's that. I record all my videos with an old Galaxy S10 phone on a cheapo Amazon tripod but it's got a nice phone mount on it. I then use Davinci Resolve (free) to marry up the audio to the video and trim it up.
