The Escape - Evening jam with MC-707 / Typhon & S-1 Tweak synth.

I'd taken the S-1 to work with me and came up with a cool patch during my lunch. The inital idea was to use the S-1 with the Argon 8 to make a techno track but the Argon is terminally ill.
Had a spare hour today so whipped up a quick jam tonight with some improv tom playing on the 707 lol
S-1 routed into the 707 ext In
Typhon going straight to the mixer and using its onboard FX

Man, this was so good. I absolutely love the 80's drum sounds with the acid techno. Sounds like a movie montage. I know it sucks to have to "play the game" but if you wanted to have WAY more subscribers, all it would take is a nicer top down camera and some succulents XD. Your music deserves to be heard.

i like what you're doing. i would use some more reverb and compression, that snare is pretty in your face. this is why i never release anything, i get stuck tweaking the damn snare (etc) forever.

I know exactly what you mean. I had a count up tonight and I have 245 unreleased tracks spanning over.a few years which basically are abandoned due to basically lack of skill with EQ / Mastering. Shame really. PS I was jamming through DT990's but could still tell that snare wasn't right. The 80's compressed kit on the 707 isn't as good as the others but to be honest I'd have preferred to used Linn drum samples but literally didn't have the time to sort it !

@@Alpha-DX i get frustrated trying to cut up a longer sample into pads, and often give up there and go do something else. at least you're getting things "done" !
