One technical term for breaking a rule on purpose is "flouting": you know the rule and how/why it works, you are just ignoring it _in this instance_ to emphasize the very point that the rule would otherwise convey.

I know you posted this 3 years ago, but I love this video! I've always wanted to draw comics but I'm still very new to the whole process. Do you have a video on maybe how to introduce different characters and how best to pace it? I have a handful of side characters but don't want to end up smashing them all in the first episode

Late to the party but a fan of Writer Duet, cloud base and I can write on my phone and desktops. It counts my panels, my pages, headings are intuitive alt+1 to 5 it speeds up the process. Free version has all you will need. Pause has a nice read aloud with characters with different voices and many other options, like reorder chapters on an outline view using sequences. Also writing back up history and writing with another person and reviewing plus commenting. List goes on on little helpful features.
