This is real but my question is. How do you come to know that Jesus knows you.

Musa, what a great question! Have you let him know you, or are you trying to hide something from Him? Have you been open and transparent with God or are you ignoring something in your life you know is sin to God? Are you fake? Do you pretend to be one person when you are with your friends and a different person when you are with Jesus? Have you come to the place that you are broken over your sin and do you agree with God/the Bible about what it says about you? Are you living a duplicitous life? Is there anything in your life that is keeping Him from getting close to you; a sin you must stop making excuses for? These are the questions we must ask ourself if we are going to let Jesus know us. We must not lie to him. These are the questions we must ask ourself if we are going to let our wife, children, your disciple, your friends know you deeply and personally. We must not lie to them. If you can do this, Jesus will be able to know you. If you cannot, you will keep him at a distance and this is dangerous. Let me know what you think. Blessings, Musa.

Good question, Gray. The answer to "why do I think there is a supernatural world" is because all people, in all cultures, on all continents, from all human history have longed / yearned for and sought after God. This clear and overwhelming desire of all humanity for all time has longed for God. I believe he put that desire for himself in us. Humanity world wide erects towers pointing to him. Cultures pray and burn incense hoping to reach the spiritual realm. We design "religions" to help us describe the God we think is out there. We try to put him in a box so we can say that he is this way or that way. Our hearts long for something this physical world cannot satisfy. Why aren't we satisfied with more stuff, more sex, more accomplishments, more, more, more; we're never satisfied. That longing in us cannot be satiated with things, stuff and more of this and that. Why? Because we were made for more than things and stuff. We were made for Him... to know Him... to have intimate fellowship with Him. As CS Lewis put it, "I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen; not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else. Additionally, Augustin- "We find no rest till we find our rest in Thee." The human psyche is an amazing thing; we long for something greater than ourselves and are obviously dissatisfied with the physical stuff the world has to offer. Then we deny the obvious. We have an amazing capacity for self deception. Winston Churchill said, "Some people stumble over the truth, pick themselves up and brush themselves off as though nothing ever happened." The supernatural world of God and Jesus is mystical and spiritual; can't touch it or hold it in your hand. But one cannot deny it either. There is overwhelming evidence that compels me, and many others, to believe it is indeed true. In fact, it is more true than the fleeting pleasures of the world. I am not groping in the darkness. My faith in God is founded on and rooted in plausabe, reasonable, objective truth and coherent explanations for the world that I see and experience every day.

There is a supernatural world because things happen that are "super"... natural... they are outside of the physical and natural world. One can't deny that and be a reasonable person. One has to deny a lot of reasonable evidence to ignore the supernatural. Now the question becomes, what can we know about the supernatural?
