This was so difficult to watch. It’s insane what occurred. We could never build these building again if we tried.

Thank you for the history. I have lived in Lawrence, since 1982 and have never heard of this. I have not heard of the start of the Old Settlers Celebration, even though I have helped celebrate it before

I think the absence of work like yours is what destroyed Olathe. Too many cities in the KC metro area have no identity outside their proximity to KCMO. We aren't a "suburb of KCMO" we have or maybe used to have our own identity. additionally look at the big urban renewal projects, how many of them still exist? The one shown as a safeway eventually became a sears that went defunct in the late 90's or early 2000s and was vacant until they tore it down a few years ago.

Hi, Great. Your Content is fantastic, But your videotape optimization section area isn't impeccably over to date. Out of 100 that’s score 0, that’s why your videotape isn't reach out to the people and you have no important subscribers, views, likes, watch time and commentary. I suppose your KZbin channel will make your dream come true. Can I talk with you?

Your KZbin channel is nice but I can see many problems in the channel. If you are serious about growing your channel and monetizing your channel, there are issues to be resolved. If you want I can present your channel problems for Free. Hope you will be satisfied.

They paved paradise, put up a parking lot With a pink hotel, a boutique, and a swingin' hot spot Don't it always seem to go That you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone They paved paradise, put up a parking lot

My wifes dad was an instructor for the N2S-3 Stearman at Olathe NAS during the war, from 1942 till 1945. Then was with NATS Squadron VR-3 when the mission at Olathe changed. She was born in Kansas City in 1943 but moved to Olathe when nearby housing became available. Family moved back to NY after the war and her dad became a pilot for Colonial Airlines then with Eastern Airlines after they merged. He loved flying and had his license at a very early age. Fond memories of the greatest generation. My wife cried when she saw this video.

Are you from this nation? If I am not mistaken, although I am not formally affiliated yet, my band would likely be of the Fish Band. My great-great-great Grandfather Paschal Fish. So I look for resources anywhere to help learn Sawanooki language and customs, but I find it difficult to locate anything trustworthy and not just historical works written by others.

Great overview, I never had an understanding of the history of downtown Olathe. It's frustrating to see those older brick structures, with so much character, torn down in place of the sole-less buildings that were built in the 70's-80's.

From the description of the video, sounds like Quantrill had himself a fine time in Olathe. That's what happens when confronting a crazy yankee who goes against his brethren from the North. I reckon it was a practice run for what would happen in Lawrence a couple of years from this little foray.
