Good music more less dies by the early 2000's in Australia. I see young kids ling up to see some hero dj that thinks his shit doesn't stink, tin a pub and tell me he's amazing. They will never know what it's like to see bands like this live in their prime and that's a sad thing.

Me eventually becoming alien and strange, my destiny to become odd as I rise to the top, unavoidable outcome. I have everything and nothing has taken me down, doubt anything can.

First heard this gold on This Sportimg Life. HG did the outro and gave it a big ‘Yeh-he-hehh you am I there just laying down a riff and saying bugger it I’m going to keep going’.

Laurie being the Premier of New South Wales … impressive water show by Mr. Tug. Is it the lyrics, the hooky guitar or Rob’s perpetual driving drumming or Peter’s presence that makes this band and their songs? Ah Sydney, probably the most beautiful big City in the whole world.

So I had a mate at high school who got a game called Quarantine. Doom on wheels, etc. This baby was on the soundtrack. Who would have thought it would have been in my head this many years after?

… If half of what I'm saying, of what I'm saying is true Will you rub my head, make it all shiny and new? And you drag my coat tails, drag my coat tails down And I'll be the only cold assed king around. If you wait I'll give all my aches to you. Take the chance, to ignore what you're going through? My cold hand is there for you to take (If you leave, can I fall down) I'm your Berlin chair, won't you lean on me 'til I break. … I'll ignore each golden, dragging kiss you can give. On the blankest face that you ever had to forgive. If you see my failings, see my failings through. I'm the re-run that you'll always force yourself to sit through. … If you wait I'll give all my aches to you. Take the chance, to ignore what you're going through? My cold hand is there for you to take (If you leave, can I fall down) I'm your Berlin chair, won't you lean on me 'til I break. … Well you're too late. You're too late. You're too late.

Hey, look into Power Pop as a Genre in general you may really really love what you find. Look up the album "Frosting on the Beater" by The Posies. You wont regret it friend. After that if your interest has been peaked look up "International Pop Overthrow" by Material Issue. Power pop ended up evolving into a strange bridge between Punk Rock and The Beatles by the mid 80s onward. Its a great genre and a perfect balance between aggression, desperation, honesty, and existentialism. Good stuff.
