If your c-clips are extremely rusty, Use the press early to push IN until you hear it snap the retainer out of it's rust bind. (Use setting 2 on your Milwaukee 2767 impact) Granted, this should not be your first action, as you are pressing in on your ears excessively if you aren't getting the play you're looking for. First, Soak in penetrant oil often and use MAP gas around the ear, This will help you punch out the cap later anyways. Use an AIR HAMMER on the c clips instead. (Central Pneumatic at harbor freight is the cheapest option.) If you can't get the hub off the axle, use the 5-ton pneumatic 3-jaw puller from Harbor Freight. Decided to buy one after 2 days of messing around with slide hammers and bird foot pullers. No, I'm not a HF sponsor, I just buy cheap stuff and it works.

Not changing oil enough or using cheap (functionally) oil. Flush the motor, use heavy detergent oil, then finish with good synthetic (amsoil).

I have one in my truck and I sawed off the screws so they can’t be unscrewed It’s gonna be pain for me later but atleast I know I won’t need to worry about this

If the engine shakes at stop 🛑 sign red light but drives good on the road that’s = a bad fuel injector check which cylinder misfire and replace that injector and sometimes bad electric ground related to injectors cause that but that’s rare

258° are from Tomei USA. 256° from Japan is the way to go

Nice video, even as a mechanic this helped me quickly figure out the easiest way to switch out the sensor. Took me about 30 mins as, at 6'5", I didn't quite fit in the engine bay and my hand barely fit! All worked perfectly though.

I've seen several videos on how to get this sensor out and very few show how to actually get the connector loose or what bolt size for the screen. YOU DID BOTH. Fantastic job on your videos !!!

Followed your directions to a tee on a 2009 Silverado 1500 LT, 5.3L flex fuel. I could not believe it was that easy after watching another video by a professional saying it could not be done without taking the intake off which it also says in the GM service manual. It's 30 degrees here and freezing rain. Had it done in about a half hour or less. When the old sensor came out it fell into no mans land but who cares. Kudos to you for showing how to get the connector loose and also how to get the screen out. I have no cuts or scrapes either !!!
