hehe - 95m trig point! That's Naarfolk for ya! Did you discover what was wrong with your foot ? Probs the road walking, as you say. Watch out for Plantar Fasciitis (tearing sensation under/behind your foot) - have a stretching routine, if you don't already. Interesting history of the tracks off the Icknield Way. Interesting to see, thanks for sharing, Lianne

After resting a couple of days, it got much better and almost healed now, so I didn't see a doctor, but I think it's footballer's ankle and definitely because of all the tarmac paths.

How did you find hiking alone as a single female? Inspirational videos
@lianne.o
@lianne.o 3 ай бұрын
Thanks for your message! Hiking alone on the GR10 felt really safe as there are plenty of other people hiking and the culture is much more accepting of wild camping. This is not the same in England, where hiking alone is absolutely fine, but wild camping does make me nervous as it is not allowed.

@@lianne.o That’s great to read. Thank you so much for your feedback as I’m planning to hike this exact same trip, autonomously and alone to celebrate my 65th next year (my 60th having ben overshadowed by a certain global event 😅). Looking forward to the rest of your series if there are more videos to come. All the best to you

Hi Lianne,I'm living just near the GR10,and near St Engrace.Logibar is not the best place for one night,it's expensive and I read on tripadvisor the friendliness of the boss is very special and sometimes he insults even the customers...... thank you for sharing this video ,it’s great...I hope ,that you will keep a good memory of this hike with all these passes to climb. Bye

Glad you enjoyed it! The mountain dogs look cute but they are definitely not, the one you saw actually bit a girl a little later, luckily just a warning bite. Many other dogs blocked my path in later sections and were terrifying!

@lianne.o

Haha, yes, I loved seeing those vultures but was also scared of coming too close... I don't know what the horses are used for, but I don't think they are fully wild, more free roaming as many wore a bell. And they usually just ignored me, so not bothering me at all.
