The original exhaust on the Honda CB300R is nice and quiet compared to those aftermarket exhausts.

Fellow shiver owner in Dallas here, I ran across your channel because of your cb300 content. Do you still have the shiver, and if so how's it working out for you? I mostly ride a Grom now, but I think the shiver is still one of the best bikes you can get.

I bought my 2006 k1200s two years ago and absolutely love it. Looks clean as first bought and never been dropped. Two weeks ago was going to trade for a Ducati Penagale v4. I test road one and came back and told the bmw sales person heck no, I’m keeping my 1200s.

Nice. I just turned over the first 1000 miles on my little black 2023. It's my fourteenth bike and the smallest I've ever owned, having learned on a KZ1000 a few centuries ago. I bought this little demon after selling my 800-lb Harley bagger, and I LOVE the bike for zipping around back country roads in my area. I like your mods. They enhance instead of destroy the aesthetics of the original. Congrats!

If you think it is not too scary you may not have really turned it loose just yet. A tip for fellow Beemer owners--when the gear position indicator goes wonky on you, pull the transmitter off (round, two screws just aft of the shift linkage on left side of engine) and notice that there is a tiny bit of clearance around the shaft that turns the potentiometer inside. Spray some electrical contact cleaner (not brake cleaner) into the opening around the shaft, rotate it back and forth, repeat, blow it out as best you can, leave it to dry for a day. Repeat if necessary until gear indications progress normally when shaft its rotated. Reinstall transmitter. Might save you a couple hundred bucks.

Very nice! Great road bike - made to bend time. I rode my "Sliver Sled with the Yeller Wheels" from Pugetropolis to visit a buddy in New Hampshire and back. I heard where "this guy" (definitely NOT ME) got the bike up to 150 on the straight stretch of Hwy 6 between Tonapah and the Warm Springs junction one Spring day in Nevada. The '12 definitely sounds nastier than the later K1300S.

I just scored a 2021 300r with only 180 miles for 3600😮😊. I couldn't believe it...I drove 7 hrs to see it,I bought it,the girl works at an army base, bought it brand new and parked it after 180. I changed the oil and oil filter...first time. Went to put gas in it and realized I needed a second key for the gas cap😢.....she never said. Ended up drilling it out and get a other. I love it.

I bought a 2007 K1200S several months ago, been riding since the early 80's. This bike has the most comfortable OEM seat of any bike I've owned over the last 40 years. Mine has the raised bars, so not as much of a stretch. Great bike, has plenty of power, and you definitely won't see them as often as a Japanese liter bike. Just stay up on the maintenance, and it should last a good long time. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jYiqnHxuqreciZo

About 18 months ago, I had never heard of these bikes & then while browsing on Ebay saw a few of them & got interested & clicked “watch” on one & forgot about it until 5 days later it flashed as just about to end……on an impulse I bought it with 20 seconds to go, I drove 2 hours in my van & test rode it, the bike was amazing so I brought her home & I’ve been all over the place on it……she’s a beast !….I popped out yesterday for a spin & did 105 miles 😀

Those bikes are fantastic year-round rides in the wet British climate because all the external parts are painted aluminium or plastic which comes up like new after a wash down. No corrosion on mine apart from a few nuts and bolts. Pretty amazing. The mild steel and wafer-thin chrome on older bikes used to look rubbish after just one winter. Great vid. Thanks.
