A little known fact about Roy Orbison is that he and Johnny Cash were next door neighbors. They both built homes by the lake (Old Hickory Lake) in my hometown of Hendersonville, Tennessee, a bedroom community located northeast of Nashville. Tragically, Roy Orbison's house burned in 1968. Two of his three sons died in the fire, only two years after Orbison’s wife had died in a motorcycle accident. After the fire Orbison sold his property to Johnny Cash who planted trees on the ~2 acre lot as a memorial. Years later, after both Johnny and June Carter had died the Cash’s lakefront house also burned to the ground.

I was 29 years old in Van Nuys California with my little son he was three we were walking down the street and all this construction man stopped working and they sang that song to me and I’ll never forget it and I loved it and he said mama there’s singingThat song do you mama you’re the pretty woman I’ll never forget that that’s one of my one of my most beautiful memories in my life

ROY a des tenues très sobres, il ne gesticule jamais, il paraît peu expressif et on ne voit pas ses yeux. Tout est dans sa voix et sa musique. Il chante et des vibrations se font sentir dans votre corps. Selon moi c'est le plus grand rocker de tous les temps. Elvis et les Beatles le disaient aussi Leurs déclarations leur font honneur
