I’ve never seen these great black n white photos of the actual victims before, only the pencil like drawings. The photos are great because you finally get a sense of each one of these ladies characters. They look young , they don’t look like older, haggard wicked women like in the drawings. I read Mary Kelly was the most attractive, with a nice singing voice, and was well liked by everyone. She was the youngest victim, and the only one with a boyfriend, who didn’t want her to work the streets. They were unfortunately on a break..Her funeral had the most attendees as well.

I just lost a good friend/co worker last week. We both loved “Stand By Me” and would quote so many lines from it. This video warms my heart and makes me miss him. He would have loved this video.

I will never understand how people can move into a home where one or worse, several ppl lost their lives. What is even more baffling is how anyone can not only move into a home where redrum occurred, but an infamous home that even has a movie about the tragedy, then act like ppl are wrong for going to the location to see it for themselves. Sorry when you move into a place like that how can you expect privacy? Nobody will ever see it as your home, it will always be seen as a redrum house, it has and always will have a place in history, stronger than a piece of paper that says “such n such are the owners” History and human curiosity are a part of life..if you don’t want to deal with it..maybe move into a normal house?
