Nothing beats a Good Morning with a monster band under the feet and looped behind the neck. That is THE killer GM. Use a couple or three bands to get the burn if you lack the monster.

I'm pretty sure muscles aren't firing isometrically during a full range of motion. Now, if you hold it during elongation, that would fit the word.

Not Good and let me tell you why. This one is a lower back exercise because you need to lean forward. Free weights in your hands will give you an upright Position an more Focus on the legs.

Well, Just a circus exercise. Why make it easier in knees and more difficult with the band at the same time. Just do normal pu and Use the Bands when you get stronger.

Love this for it’s simplicity. Using your own body as the “anchor,” does this put any stress on the spine, however? I have not felt it, but someone in the anonymous web seemed to make such a claim. Could this be achieved using a door anchor?

Not true that this a bad exercise. In. Quite opposite as a matter of fact.It's no worse than resting a barbell across your traps or using heavy chains for dips that alot of pros incorporate into their regimen.if you are a wrestler or jiu jiu-jitsu fighter,you are used to resistance on your upper traps. If it's not for you, don't do it. But it is a good exercise.🥋💪🏽

Better to anchor on the hinged side. Then it doesn't matter what side of the door you are on. Also, those handles on the handle bands work well as anchors.

The worst part of doing banded chest press is hitting failure. You gotta go really high reps to hit true muscular failure

Nothing is preventing me from training for strength with bands instead of weights. I can easily load up multiple bands and get myself to failure in 3 reps, 5 reps, whatever. So, there is NO need for training with heavy weights to gain strength.

Interesting. One of my favorite exercises are Renegade Rows with dumbbells. I do 10reps in first set with 45lbs each side. Some days ago I try it with a loop band and a foot plate. It was much harder for me.

60 year old here who's in good shape, but years of benching have taken their toll on my shoulders. This feels really good, and I get a much better mind/ muscle connection. Works great for me and much better on the old shoulders.

Other than the parallel weighted dips the stiff armed dumb bell pullover is my near the top favorite exercise ; been doing them 48 years ,however while lifting alone at home gym it’s bothersome to get a 60-80lb 1dumb bell in starting position ,so I decided to try bands and do stiff arm push downs.Your vid convinced me that I probably made the right choice because you really became winded while being fit.Thanks for posting ,you really have me looking forward to receiving my band (50-125 lb) which I just ordered .KUDOS to you!

I’ve never seen anyone use those bands properly, or explain it so well. Not even instructors in the gym. I don’t think they even knew how to use them themselves. Almost noone uses them around here. I discarded the bands quickly, because I never learned how to use them. But seeing their true potential now, I’ll try them again. I hate weights and machines. This seems a lot more fun. Convenient too, since they can be taken anywhere. Sounds like a good way to work on coordination and focus too 😃
