I've been a helicopter pilot for twenty three years, my jet ranger days are long gone and sometimes sadly missed.. It seems like every time I'm drinking beer while watching KZbin this video comes around and brings back awesome memories. Thank you.

Cold starting turbines are not that problem. u dont need that in the title, because the turbine heats up faster as i stopped your video ^^

bell 206 is still the most iconic helicopter shape from growing up in the 80s it was used in all the movies and tv shows of that time

You can have your Erocopters but the Bell 206 Jetranger will always be the best it is the cadillac of helicopters.

There is no sound like the howl of a turbine engine spooling up. That first 2 seconds after fuel hits and the combustor starts pumping out hot gasses, wooo weeee! I tend to love industrial sounds though. Hell, I used to play around with my 12 valve cummins just to hear it and start my sleds and 2 stroke streetbike just to hear the ringa ding ding.... Tee hee. Ding.. .ding ding... ding.. ding.. ding ding.. I'm sure everyone who loves 2 strokes just heard that idle sound in their heads just reading that. :)
