@@StaceyEllis1968 absolutely agree but the tools need to be right to achieve what you set out to do. The example here is, I struggled to hit long irons and so found it hard to attack pins. Whereas with the hybrid I now have a club that gives me that missing yardage. So yes I do agree is course management but there is still the part of shooting better score by having the correct tools for you ✌️

Agree with you, but if your playing bogey golf then you can also afford yourself an extra shot on the longest holes so can club down and take a definite two rather than hope to hit a reliable one Par fours and fives become far easier to achieve then But if your comfortable and confident, and the course allows it, then certainly go for it

I use my Cleveland hybrid to tee off all the time now. Consistently getting it straight down 200 yards and have recently learned how to fade and draw from the deck. I hardly have to swing and the ball explodes off the tee. Guys in my league always look at me as a loser using a hybrid in the tee box. I don’t care what anyone thinks, I use the club that works for me. They feel stupid anyway after I rip a further drive than they did with their high cost driver. I use the hybrid pretty much all the way to the green. Heck, I can even putt well with it. Using a rescue club has been a game changer for me and made the game fun for me again. That driver was killing my confidence. Thanks for your video.

@@GOLFDAYSThe Sim 2 max is probably the best of the bunch but spend your time at the range hitting the ball as hard as far as you can to get used to it. It’s like a formula one car. The faster you drive the better the control!!!

no mate, its hard for me to actually get hold of the clubs unless i buy them which is why i try and make genuine real reactions to equipment when i have them, a bit like the golf ball comparisons that have actually had great feedback.

I was always caught up on yardage and only recently accepted first my technique isnt great and secondly not the fastest swing speed to hit it far, relative to many of my friends. The sooner i stopped worrying about it the better scoring i shot. My hybrid is 19 degree and when hit well is 200yd carry, you should look back on my latest break 90 episode, i hit my shot of the year with this club. I am starting to learn that consistency and accuracy is more important than distance as we have 14 clubs (minus the putter) so we should utilise all of them. sorry if i am rambling, what i am trying to say i think is even though you may not hit 200 yds you could still have the capability to beating someone who hits it 200yd

@@dry509go to the range and just spend time trying to hit the driver as hard as possible. Eventually I hope you realise that by hitting as fast as possible you start to get more control as you develop a better understanding of the direction of face pointing in. Hope that helps. It’s like a Formula One car: the faster drive the remote control you have.

i really struggle with the long irons which is why the hybrid is a game changer. i dont need to hit it well to get something out of it.

Look for a second hand Adams 4 hybrid. Preferably with with the speed slot in the head, awesome forgiving clubs and you can pick them up for £40.00

i cant hit 3wood with any confidence what so ever. i dont know what it is i just have no control. i find the hybrid to be the club just because its a shorter shaft. my hybrid goes further than the 5 wood i was using that says it all for me. Thanks mate

It cost me 80 quid from golfbidder lol I use a 5 hybrid for about 170 yards in but the 7 wood for about 180 plus

@@GOLFDAYS gotcha, thanks. I was originally wanting 101s, dont really like the juiced lofts, thicker top line and concerned i may "play out of them". I shoot between 85-100 depending on how much I am playing. Not a big fan of the "tour" sized or oversized heads - something mid-sized works.
