20 minutes into video still waiting to hear what specific itinerary they were on.

I was in this exact room on the next cruise after you and that noise was horrible. My kids were in 16102 and had the exact noise as well. They looked at us like we were crazy when we brought it up and also said the ship was completely full since it was Thanksgiving week and couldn't move us. I counted every 8 seconds as well!

Just had hot pot for lunch today in our quiet kitchen! Sure hope that black dress gets to come along on the group cruise in a few weeks… Oh, and I hope you come along with it. Lol.

Another vote for Jill's black formal night dress! Gorgeous! Thank you for showing the Hot Pot. Interesting concept. We do agree, there needs to be more shaded areas on the ships. The seating areas along Deck 9 on both sides were very comfy and unique. It was also great they had food options on both sides too. I think the grab and go area in the buffet is a nice addition especially since it's open 24 hours. Always love a sea day! Cheers from London, Ontario!

Do you have a balcony. I have never seen a shower into the hallway. Oh you do have a balcony. A way better room and you saved lots of money. For the size of the ship not understanding small venues.

At least you have friends with a better room. I advise everyone not to get the cabin you chose. To funny wave goodbye and your back. Hardly any one on that cruise. I cruised in November and one princess cruise they were jam packed. Of course not sure if I wanted to be on it.

My husband likes the 70's music when they have it and he just sits and listens while I go dance.

Cruised 12/14/24 to 12/21/24 found main dining room food just ok. Once we figured deck 7 went from front to back of ship life was made easier. Last formal night dining room food was good steak and lobster at no extra charge. Make friends with casino host pays off as they can make offers. Don’t go by points necessarily. Goes for all cruise ships. Honestly Sky, Enchanted, Royal, Regal are still my favorites. Sun was a one time for us.

How interesting to see the changes in the port area!! We have a family photo at the Senior Frogs, and we stayed at the Sheraton in 2009. I remember the Sheraton had a grand staircase when you entered, and a roof top pool overlooking the cruise port. We sailed the Carnival Victory that trip. Living vicariously through your trips!! Can’t wait to go back again

What were they thinking with that theater? Sky has 3000 plus passengers and the theater only accommodates 963 people. Meaning that with two shows, it would be impossible for everyone to see the show. You have to show up 30-45 minutes in advance just to secure a decent spot. How on earth could they make it worse with their next generation offering? Thanks for the great video though!

Hi Have done 2 Xmas and NY cruises. Xmas dinner was a full blown 5 course meal, appetisers. Main, dessert Main had turkey and/or ham, with roasted potatoes and roasted vegetables. Dessert was a brandy or rum Xmas pudding with hot custard or chantilly cream(not pressure can cream). Xmas petite fours. Tables all decorated. NYE has special menu, tables decorated and it was not formal in either. Would do it again as we have family in Switzerland, Singapore, Melbourne)Australia) and UK. So very difficult to get together. As an aside maybe on one of your banter nights you have someone who has cruised lines like Oceania or Regent or Azamara so to provide a comparison to your experiences.

OMG That dessert at the Catch that Mr Canuck had looks too good to be true! I've taken my 3 kids on the same snorkel excursion in march 2023 and they still talk about how much fun it was. They used wind power to get back to the port, My partner lost her Garmin smart watch in the ocean, and my hat blew off on the way back. Had good laughs about the stuff we lost. Had a great time, kids want to do it again!

Always enjoy going to the Dutch Cafe early mornings on the Pinnacle class HAL when we cruise the holiday season. I love the white Dutch houses they decorate with lights. So calming and then the view of the sea just beyond. Merry Christmas Jill, and Bruno. Thank you for a wonderful cruise year so far.

I agree with you about the smoking. I'm very sensitive to smoke, too, so that would definitely put me off booking. We were on a cruise recently on Queen Elizabeth (last Australian Cruise) and the Christmas decorations were lovely. Have a wonderful Christmas and new year.

The most recent was in '22 on the Discovery Princess. She had just come to the West Coast in her inaugural year and was doing the Mexican Riviera run. I just adore all the decorations and the live carolers they have singing by the huge decorated 🎄 in the piazza when you first board. The Royal class ships are great! Discovery is a beautiful ship already, but with all the lights and garland and Christmas trees it's so special. Holiday cruises in general but Christmas and New Years especially are expensive, though! With the way the prices have gone up and holidays being the worst for $$$ and kids, I don't see us going on another anytime soon. Would you believe it's so cold where you guys are and it was 75°F here in California today. I hope it warms up for you soon. Take care and stay warm!

My brother's family did a Christmas cruise (his first cruise) last year with his in-laws. They used credit from a cancelled 2020 cruise He's decided if he cruises again it will be a less expensive time of the year. And won't be with his mother-in-law...
