Ehh not really feeling this mod. The NTU mod was more or less realistic in terms of weapon range and spreed for the Americans. This mod for the Soviets is alot less realistic. For example. The sa-n-20 gargoyle's speed was 3100kts not 4700. Although its range was greater in real life but alil nerfed in game. 3100 is fast af but to boost it to 4700 in game is alil wild for me. The sa-n-12bs range was 300nm. Not 400. Nitpicky i know but I can't help but feel that way when the NTU mod gave more realistic stats to the Americans

I downloaded the ntu mod, the pact mod, the Iowa vls ntu mods, but no standard missles show up on the any iowa class. Just a regular load out of tomahawk and harpoon. No hundreds of misses or standards. What am I doing wrong? The PACT mod worked just fine

Did you select the correct Iowa? The base Iowa doesn't get it. You have to select another version of the Iowa in the mission editor and then select what type of armament you want under Loadout.

Stealth I would like to know your opinion about the recent add of Jammers to ships in the recent updates. They were always described in the unit reference menu, as Electronic warfare defenses, or something like that, but they didn't work until recent days... Now, when I send big salvos of missiles, I get messages of "Attacking weapon Jammed" all the time, and it is very very difficult to hit something now. I saw how an American destroyer Jammed from very far, a whole salvo of SS-N-22 at once and made them change direction and explode in the air immediately! Now I'm hopping some moder made a mod to disable them because I feel they are too OP.

It is STUPID easy to go into the game files for the vessels you wish to disable the jammers for, and then just disable them. Say, for the Virginia, go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sea Power\Sea Power_Data\StreamingAssets\original\vessels Find the usn_cgn_virginia file, save a copy of the file, and then find / remove this from the text of the file: [SensorSystem11] #ECM #AN/SLQ-32(V)3 Electronic Warfare Suite Type=ECM SystemName=AN/SLQ-32 Mount=Dummy MountPosition=0,0.25,-0.117 Collider=coll_ecm Save the file, launch the game, and the Virginia should no longer be able to use ECM.

Interesting to see how many mods are already going around in Early Access. Things like the Harpoonski-armed helicopter certainly gives them a whole new mission profile to play with, which seems nice. Like I said in some earlier video, I'd hope that the final Sea Power version maybe marks units based on being historical/semi-historical/fictional to keep mission making a bit cleaner.

Having anti-ship missiles on helicopters makes Moskva-class much more capable, since they have tons of those helos but in original game they are only useful against submarines.

With the NTU mod, they became far less of a threat as the newer versions of Standard Missile stand a vastly better chance at hitting them while they're skimming. Additionally, the extended ranges of newer SMs mean they have a much harder time getting in close before being downed if they're employed as intended; to kill carriers; seeing as those carriers will certainly have air cover.

Also note (and you can look this up) that all of the systems in this mod actually exist, were in almost all cases fitted to the ships that have them in this mod and are _not_ just hypotheticals/design proposals, although some of them are implemented incorrectly with regards to weapons loadouts as another commenter mentioned. I can think of several systems (like for example an extended-range Metel/Silex) that were designed but never actually built owing to the fall of the USSR which this mod could have added but didn't. If the author wanted to make this a 'fantasy' mod then there's quite a bit of other stuff they could have done but have refrained from doing.

Interesting, the Soviets get to play with new toys, but they don't seem to have any upgrades to their electronics (which was ultimately point of NTU). Specifically, the near unlimited fire control channels the SM-2 armed NATO ships get. I suppose it's less important to them as they prioritize their anti-ship capabilities than their missile defence. Even so, their missile defense currently is quite strong already.

Also a great thing would be to add to that mod a soviet CIWS called Kortik or Kashtan, which was used since 1989 on Kirovs and aircraft carriers as well as on some Sovremennys. Its a better CIWS compared to AK-630, and has additional 8 AA missiles of its own.

In the current patch TASM is suck it go active after 30nm not after it reach the waypoint so it likely random which ship it will target and remember 30nm activation range if you have your ship spread out at 35nm then you ship will become target

This was a fun mission for me. Used my helicopters are radar pickets and spotted the migs just outside of RIM-7 range. Got lucky with the intercept. Didn't spot the Alpha until later, right inside ASROC range. Alpha never fired, I suspect they didn't hear me. Radar pickets found the Krivak and it took 6 harpoons to hit.
