That scenery is amazing. Love all of the falls and the glacier is so unlike anything we have here. What a beautiful area. Cool spot on the bald eagle, too.

Well it looked a great start to the morning, fantastic weather but things can sure change quickly. Bit of a rough trail to follow and plenty of evidence of wildlife and it sure looked quiet there too. Nice to see the fish biting and good sized too but hearing thunder and seeing lighting is never a good sign when you are caught outdoors. Plenty of water on the track and the reassuring sight of footprints too, which is always a great sight, cheers Alan

Those views are definitely crazy good! That's the whole reason I'd love to go to Alaska. I want to take pics of all that prettyness. Dang that ship is huge. Those are some pretty big ice chunks in the water. The color of the water is so pretty. And, of course, I love the falls. Just stunning scenery. It's weird. That blue almost looks like someone threw food coloring on it 😆 The way you guys are bundled makes me feel so cold. I really do hate cold. Oh glacier ice drink. That's interesting. What was the actual drink? Is it literally just glacier ice that's melted some? Is weird to think you had ice in your drink that was that many years old. Did it taste weird? Love all the falls. Back to the big boat, huh? Never done a cruise. I'm guessing you get off and on several times on this trip too? Just like when you hit different ports in Bahamas and stuff? Almost didn't happen, hmmm. It will probably never happen for us. Thinking if we ever make it to Alaska, we'll be driving.

Good visit to the canyon. About the only time I’ve not seen it busy is in the fall after school starts. Although at that time the river and creek are high water due to the monsoon season. You’ll have mud up to your thighs crossing Terlingua Creek.✌️

It`s great to come across somewhere that was not part of the plan and find a place with so much interest to enjoy. Looks a great place to pause and relax awhile when on a long trip. The River Walk is a pleasant stroll. We had a pretty gloomy winter day for our own visit and the Walk was very quiet. We were a bit early in the day and were only spending one night here before heading to Houston Space Centre and two nights in Galveston. Wish I could get out on the road once more. Best wishes to you both.

What a great spot to camp and to wake up to! Cold soaking is not too bad. I often do it for oatmeal. Not so much for a 'hot meal'. Nice fishing... That storm looked pretty bad. 40% of bad luck, i guess... Glad you could follow the trail/river back to the trailhead. 😁 Sorry that you had to cut the trip short. Great couple of videos Packs. At 6:13 of this video would make an awesome screensaver. At the lake where you were catching all of the fish in the first video is as close as I have ever come to being hit by lightning. I walked the whole five miles back in a pounding rainstorm with all of the puddles on the trail and where the trail was going up or downhill, it was just like walking in a running creek. I had decent raingear but I was soaked by the time I got to my vehicle. One thing about it is you never forget those trips.

That is one of my favorite lakes in all of the uintas. I have been there at least 20 times and had the lake to myself all but once. You sure picked the hard way to get there though. You don't need to do all of that bushwhacking.

The furthest lake in part 2 was a great lake with lots of potential. I did find what I believed to be the trail/route to get there while on the way out. I also saw some orange markings on the trees leading to the lake. It was decent all the way out. I did not want to give the location away too easily. It was definitely bushwhacking from the first lake to the last, but decent route/trail from the furthest one all the way back out to Duck. Great spot. I see why it is a favorite. I need to go back there and explore and fish some more. It seems there are a few more even farther to the South I need to check out too. Lots of fun. Thanks for watching. Have a great day.

The lightening and rain really chased you out of there! Yikes, that sure came down fast! I was feeling cold just watching 🤣🤣 The ponding on the trail was very impressive! Awesome fishing at those off trail lakes… pretty fish! I wonder what disturbed your food sack… a big or little critter. Fun to see the cows… we’ve seen them down lower near the road but haven’t seen them on a hike - they were loving the green grass and ponds. Nice to see there were still plenty of flowers blooming. Too bad you ran out of fuel, but good that you can cold soak the oats… the blueberry vanilla sounds yummy! Exciting trip! Have a great day! ⛈⛈⛈🌦☀ Jen 😄

Thanks Jennifer. When the lightning and thunder happen nearly simultaneously it is definitely time to duck for cover or get on out of there! LOL. The fishing was awesome. I would go back to these lakes for sure. Pretty much guaranteed a fish here. Not sure about the food bag. I had my trail camera going through the night but I made a rookie mistake and left it on test mode. Which means I only got the first video when setting up and nothing after that. Dang! I'm excited to try the blueberry vanilla flavor. Certainly on one of my next trips. This was a super fun solo trip but would definitely be more fun with some company next time.
