Oh see now this is something I'd like to do that we have not done. We didn't even realize this existed when we visited the Alamo many moons ago. I love the buildings and the pretty fountain. Wow! There's quite the crowd walking along side the river. 05:17 what was that building you showed a pic of at the end of your tour. Too funny people were pointing at you cuz of your Shrek shirt. It is really pretty. Such a fun thing to do. We may have to go back to San An one of these days just so I can do that riverwalk. Not sure Jessie will be for it. He's not a fan of the big cities lol. Cool how they light up under the bridge. Now that would be something to see. A wedding in the middle of the river. Fun stop. This is why I love you guys. You like doing things we like to do.

Thanks. Shrek was there! LOL. Yes the building was the same building but from a different view showing more of the building. The architecture was pretty amazing. The flag was awesome too. We do not like big cities either but the river walk area had a less city like feel to it. It was so beautiful. This was a neat area that I think Jessie could even tolerate. LOL. Fun area of San Antonio! Really nice river cruise tour! The river area looks so clean and refreshing with the stonework and wonderful tall trees! Beautiful landscaping and flowers too! 👌Loved seeing all the American flags. 😄🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Long wait for the boat but worth it for the ride and the history as well, sure looked better than joining all the crowds of people walking along the river. Funny about the T Shirt...lol, cheers Alan

Thanks Alan. We got in line at the wrong time. After we finally got on the boat the line was gone. Just our luck. This was a beautiful area of the city. It seemed the busiest areas along the river walk were near the dining areas. The other areas were much less busy. The entire area was so beautiful. PLus, Shrek was there! Glad we were able to explore the river walk. Back to the mountains now! LOL. Have a great day.

I was very impressed by the San Antonio River Walk when I was able to visit. Just didn't have long enough and wished I could have been there at night! That river tour looked pretty impressive too! Looks like you two had a very enjoyable time.

The River Walk is a pleasant stroll. We had a pretty gloomy winter day for our own visit and the Walk was very quiet. We were a bit early in the day and were only spending one night here before heading to Houston Space Centre and two nights in Galveston. Wish I could get out on the road once more. Ah guys San Antonio looked lovely and the singing birds were cute. That was a huge tree as were the others ! I would love to go on that river cruise, no wonder it was busy. Nice to see that first bridge, interesting there used to be a dam there too. The buildings were so beautiful as you went along the river, gorgeous architecture and definitely a fun way to see the city . Haha that was so funny about the Shrek incident, you must have had lots of attention 😄 That pink lit up bridge was so pretty 🙂 Loved this tour, a place we would really like :) ~ Anna 👍

When I think of San Antonio, I think of the book/Series Lonesome Dove. Its funny to hear you talk about the trees being giant. You are definitely from Utah. lol Great sights but boy was it crowded. Imagine working at the first art deco building there and having to hear a guy on a speaker talk about it every 15 minutes. 😂
