Brilliant. This looks like it was built yesterday, not in 1981.

Major props for running Fasttracker. Unexpected for a testing video, but very welcome nonetheless.

Mine was also i386Dx33 with i387 math co. processor. Octek Mainboard, 4 MB ram ?(can't remember brand) 1 MB Trident Video Card, 120 MB Conner HDD, Teac 1.44 floppy, Teac 5.25 floppy, Acer 14 inch monitor, SoundBlaster Pro, = $3100 at that time (1992) Monkey Island and Dott are used to be my all time fav adventure games.

What you can't hear: the high pitch whine of the CRT monitor as it comes to life and constantly there in the background. Then the floppy disk/CD sounds when you inevitably want to play some games. Also the rollerball mouse that gets squeaky as dirt builds up on the wheel contacts between the rubber ball. The clicky clack mechanical keyboard that was standard on all PCs. The involuntary "woah, way cool, booyah!" when you succeeded ingame.

This PC's noise is very similar to the old computers in Fallout 3, from the 60s or so. Back to '94 when i bought my first 386 DX/40 with 4MB RAM only. But 32 MB? Come on, it was an impossible dream for me and for most of us.

Can a first gen Windows 95 with PLUS addon even be able to access the the modern 2024 internet apart from simple Telnet, FTP and Usenet? I think even email will kick you out as incompatible. How many here even remember using audio modems that made noise?
