Print on Demand is where you create designs to put on products like shirts, mugs, blankets etc and then use a third party company like Printify to print, pack and ship the item to your customer. :) I recently did a video like this for that niche as well!

No I don't! If it helps-- this is two separate steps. You save your original design from Canva and you import that into Printify and place it on the shirt where they should print it. Then separately, you upload your mockups to canva and upload your design to Canva. From a new 2000x2000 canvas, you apply your mockup, then you apply your design on top of the mockup where it will be printed.

If you want to leverage the Etsy marketplace, you definitely want to design for current trends or soon coming trends. Otherwise it's unlikely your listing will be seen since the majority of Etsy customers find items using the search bar. :) For any design you're concerned about, you can always go through the trademark process. It is costly, though!

That's definitely better than guessing-- the only thing is it's not specific to what people are searching on Etsy itself. :) I use Everbee for all my SEO research because it shows the number of people searching a particular word or phrase on the Etsy platform AND how many listings are competing for the word or phrase. I can't think of a book off the top of my head-- however there is an old Christian book called "The Healing Light" amzn.to/4jb8MYR that taught me SO much!! I do think there are aspects of LOA that contradict the Word of God and we need to take the truth and spit out the deception. But I also think the church dismisses enormous truths in the Word of God just because they haven't learning how to walk in it yet and they aren't common place as they were in the time of Jesus and the book of Acts. I definitely recommend starting in those microniches! But even bach is a super busy niche. I suggest you niche down even more! (Maybe party location or type, etc)

But you have to have massive amounts of time to sift through the info, figure out what works for you and what doesn't, and put all the pieces together. I'm super short on time so I buy courses regularly to help me learn quickly and efficiently from people I really resonate with. But I think it's totally fine if you don't! :) :)

I was talking mostly about how many listings you would need. Variations can be both added to each listing, or separated into separate ones! It's up to you! I would choose your designs based on trends though. :) :)

You're definitely taking more of a risk with inventory. I recommend starting slow and testing a product. Just get supplies for maybe 10-20. :)
