@@IzzysTravelDiaries I was just there two days ago for the first time and wanted more of it's incredible history and glad I came across your channel! It's a little chilly out there around this time of the year , etc. .the castle was open however with did have some limited features. :)

I stayed here twice in September 2023. I think it is the closest hotel to Barcelona airport. It was not fancy, but was clean and very quiet. Breakfast was good, and there is a shopping mall with a Mercadona supermarket and lots of restaurants right next door. I would definitely stay here again. Easily accessible via bus 99 from the airport and Viladicans station is just across the road with frequent trains to Barcelona Sants.

Nice, I didn't realise you went to Italy. I need to catch up on your latest videos and rewatch the ones on Hungary. Things have been so nightmarishly hectic recently that I haven't had much time to be online, let alone watching videos. I'm almost ready to make the move to central Europe, though I'm still torn on whether I should move back to Czech Republic (I lived there before they joined the EU) or try something new, like Hungary. I've put feelers out for apartments in both places but, regardless of where I go, obtaining a resident permit and handling the legalities of bringing my cat is going to be...fun, heh. I hope you are doing well. Take care.

Thanks for the tour. Too bad you don't have a better camera, as the video looked a bit jerky and maybe the contrast was a bit out, but good cameras are expensive. Some lingering shots on the murals would have been good so we could get a clearer view of them. Cheers. 👍

Yeah, I'd love to have a better camera, but my dream camera costs as much as I make in two months and since I'm not making any money with KZbin, I just can't justify the expense. I sometimes find that my longer videos get less views, so I try to keep them as short as possible. Though they're not doing that well anyway. :( Honestly, I only keep it up because I mainly make them for me and my family, who can't travel with me.

I've been to Budapest 4 times now, and this has never happened to me, just some women at the Great Market Hall overcharging on some food and a prostitute approaching me on Vaci Utca.

Well, you're lucky or you don't look like it then. I've come across several tourists that this happened to. Also some were taken to a strip club and blackmailed into paying from their bank account.

@@IzzysTravelDiaries Perhaps your right, I have some business in Budapest, and don't always go to the tourist areas, or act like one. A lot of women stare at me though, I'm flattered, but I've been told because my skin is dark and they curious about me.

I just read this. The truth is that I don't really eat much, so I only went to one pizza place. I'm also Hungarian, so eating Hungarian food is what I do. There is an interesting medieval themed place though, that looked good named Excalibur. I've been on a diet all my adult life.
