STAY AWAY!!!! - TERRIBLE PRODUCT FROM A HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!! Please do yourself a favor a stay far away from this terrible product and even worse company. Learn from my experience and save your hard-earned money. I purchased a watch from iGPS in May 2019. I bought this watch for my daughter who has severe autism and problems with running away. The company was more than happy to take my money by ensuring me that it would be great for children with special needs. Upon shelling out $200 for the watch and $300 for the first year of service, I received the watch in the mail. Right off the bat it didn't work at all. It says it's accurate to within a few feet, but it was always showing my daughter's location over a mile away! If she ran off into the woods and I needed to find her, then I would have no idea where she was. I could never trust a product like this to possibly save her life. If anything I would be better off without it, because this would have me running to look in all the wrong places. I contacted the company about returning the product. They were more than happy to accept the return at first. I returned the item via USPS Priority Mail with tracking and they received it in a few days. I was then informed that I would have to wait 8 weeks to receive my refund. It was at this point that I began to become suspicious. I looked up iGPS Watch on the Better Business Bureau out of Fort Myers, FL. That's when I found out that they have a D rating and a long history of faulty products and withholding refunds. After waiting 8 weeks, I began to contact the company again about my refund. This is where the games really started. They NEVER answer the phone or emails at their business. After being ignored I decided to open my own BBB complaint. They respond with nothing but lies about never being contacted or else they'd have issued me a full refund. Then they said if I closed the BBB case they'd issue me a refund. So I closed the case and they decided that they'd only be refunding me for the value of the service for $300, because they couldn't locate the $200 returned watch. Keep in mind that this is now 5 months after I returned it. They claimed that the tracking doesn't show any history. The USPS only keeps tracking history for 120 days and then recycles it. Why would they wait 5 months to look for the item to begin with you might ask? Well I guess that way they can say that the shipping shows it wasn't delivered and then withhold your refund. I was tired of playing their games and just said to refund me the $300 for the service like they said they would. Once again they conveniently began to ignore me again. I reopened the BBB case and finally got another response. Now they claim they're not providing a refund at all because they haven't received the product. So it's now been over 7 months since I purchased and returned the watch, but still no refund. This company is run by two brothers that are taking advantage of families of children with special needs. They are committing outright fraud by lying and withholding customers' refunds. Just read the many complaints right on the BBB. Lots of people complaining about product or service problems, and many are never issued refunds. One of the product reviews on Amazon is by a man named Anthony and another by Alvaro Yanes. Anthony is one of the owners and Alvaro Yanes is a consultant for the company. If you look at their iGPS Watch seller reviews on Amazon, one is by a man named Dallas and another also named Anthony. These are the names of the two owners of the company. So at least 2 of the product reviews and 2 of the seller reviews are fabricated. It's clear most reviews on Google are also fake. They're so pathetic and terrible that they have to resort to leaving their own reviews in order to bolster their reputation. They are running a scam and use deceptive business practices. I plan on filing a complaint with Florida's Office of the Attorney General in the hopes of having them investigated. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!
