On Wednesday, Governor DeSantis issued a memorandum of understanding to empower the Florida Highway patrol with immigration enforcement powers.

If anyone in agriculture doesn't like this it's because they are taking advantage of illegal immigrants. Florida has a long history of seasonal workers that are perfectly legal to be here. Yes they cost a little more but don't you think it's worth it to know they're not rapists and murderers.

Not just agricultural workers, in Florida they also are used for all the expensive horse industries, taking care of horses at the larger facilities. And many more uses in Florida’s “wealthy” areas.

Florida has businesses that order illegal immigrants through “vendors” (traffickers) in Panama. The immigrants go to Panama, where they get on large container ships. Those ships go to Tampa’s port. Then the migrants are put in semi-trucks to be shipped to the area where they will be used. When they reach the area, they are put in vans to be dropped off at the facilities (U.S. businesses) that will use them, in violation of national immigration laws and national employment laws. I am assuming the state of Florida knows this, but the citizens of Florida are clueless.
