Please tell me, why should I use a Reedle serum, when I’m already exfoliating? Honestly I’m kinda scared this is a hype like face scrubs once was, or those years when we were all micro-needling. ♥

I think the basics are good but retinoids are absorbed in like 20 minutes and exfoliants likewise. Sour was the first taste/smell(in marine creatures not to distinguish) because you could detect the co2 from a predator/prey breathing. Sounds wierd, but you won't taste any sour above your lips in the morning, when you exfoliated in the evening

All I do is take showers, clean my clothes and bed sheets. I don't mind having a little acne on my face it's natural. But it's getting out of hand for some reason suddenly, so I'm here now 😭 Thx for the tips my guy 👍

I love the message of the movie. Hollywood is obsessed with young females, oversexualization and youth. And also plastic surgery. The movie gave the right lessons. That you cannot cheat gravity and aging. And that the best thing to do is to LOVE yourself!

Clinique are developed by a dermatologist and are good so they don’t need changing. Several products you’ve put into top tier have wrecked my skin. I’ve tried it all. From Dior to L’occitane. My fav - Clinique, Olay! Yes Olay over Chanel!!!! I’ve tried it all.

Wanna ask, how long does that tub of cleansing balm last you? I suppose it depends on how often you wear makeup, I don't often. I think most people go for wipes because they're often cheaper and sometimes more convenient. £16 for a cleansing balm, well it'd have to last at least 5 times longer than a pack of wipes aha

As a person studying social research and criminology currently writing my diss on the prison system, thank you for your compassionate view on prison and for pointing out the inequalities and biases within the “justice” system. It’s so easy to judge without knowing the whole story, everyone deserves self care and criminal behaviour is such a complex issue

Hey HYRAM! Question: so I’ve been doing a honey mask once a week (just manuka honey, no added ingredients, or essential oils) to keep my eczema prone skin in check since it’s so moisturizing. I read somewhere that honey can also be an exfoliant? Taking away any dead skin? And i must say when I do use it, my skin is SUPER SOFT. Could I just keep doing this mask instead of using a chemical exfoliant?

Love the video Hyram! I’d love to see a video where you talk about different types of skin care routines and what the benefits are. Like for instance the “Skin cycling” routine. I think it’s hard for a lot of us to know how to use products to get the benefits on a consistent basis. Do you have a go to weekly routine that works for you?

Interesting how Hyram is so pro research but at the same time will diss a sunscreen that even Dr Dray (who is gung ho about irritants in skincare) supports.
@Hyram
@Hyram 2 күн бұрын
I think the combination of potential skin irritation, the amount of clients that I've had that have bad reactions to chemical UV filters, and conflicting research about the sustainability of the ingredients, I just opt out of it! But just my own stance, whatever sunscreen works for you :)
@morgianasartre6709
@morgianasartre6709 2 күн бұрын
@ Sustainability of zinc sunscreens is even more questionable so that point evens out anyways. Also considering that a big chunk of the population just can't really use mineral ones without looking ridiculous is not irrelevant. Irritation points mostly apply to US based sunscreens, which is a something not often emphasised on the chanel. Also genuenly curious, what clients do you have, skincare consults?

I honestly dont think people are getting lymphatic drainage the way they think they are. Are you massaging the skin and facial muscles? Yes. Are you having an impact on the lymphatic system? Sort of but only because you're doing the massage and you might get a little bit of impact on the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is very superficial to the skin. If you press too hard you go past the lymphatic system. I'd say add another pass of very very light pressure to try and hit just the lymphatic system. Start by going down your neck from the ear lobe to the collar bone - lightly! (follow the SCM muscle). The lymphatic system works with vacuum pressure so you want to open up away from the area you're targeting. You're turning on the vacuum. Then do your face. Think of it like brushing your face. Pull the stokes toward your ear. Adding a lighter pass may help actually getting lymphatic drainage and can help relax your mind as well.
