Fantastic parenting, showing your children what happened in 1944. I've been there also, an amazing place. Just make sure everyone is buckled up especially in the front as it appeared your daughter had forgotten to put her seatbelt on. Also, with respect, never allow passengers to put their feet up on the dashboard, in a sudden crash it can be instantly fatal, I won't explain why.

I haven't watched your videos before. Two questions...do you have an accent or is it dialect? In Europe, everyone must be properly secured in the car, otherwise large fines and possible other consequences in the event of an accident... Just a tip. Merry Christmas!

Can't wait to take our van there! Our kids will love the light room and perfumery. After Baja you'll have to ship yours back to EU!
@florida_familytravelsАй бұрын
We were going to ship it back in 2026 for sure. However, I just learned today that carriers are no longer accepting lithium batteries onboard motorhomes or travel vans. I have 10 Battle Born Lithium batteries. Apparently you can going forward only ship without the batteries. Shipping the batteries separately would be an expensive alternative although I saw that Fedex also has restrictions on that. Definitely something to look into. We would love to go back for a do-over of our European trip...

3 month stay in Europe seems like max length in Schengen countries. Is it still cost effective shipping than renting there?

It was about the same for us. We did 8 weeks in total. Rental + extra mileage and everything we would need would be more than shipping our van. I guess it's all about personal reference.

When you were weighing your van frequently what did you weigh just before you shipped? @@thebriles I have a regular class E license in Florida. So in Europe if you live there, as soon as the van is a dually you need a “truck” license. On the back of my license it says “any non commercial vehicle with a GVWR <26,001lbs or any RV. Never had any problems. We only got so many positive reactions from people. Our tank heater pads are Facon. We have 2 fresh water thanks underneath the sprinter (on both sides), one grey water tank and one black water tank. All 4 tanks are equipped with those heater pads. It does not really heat but it prevents from freezing. All pipes and tanks are then wrapped with insulation and Reflectix.
