I have to ask, Do you not worry about your cleavage around welding and grinding machines? Seriously?

I've been wondering how Lyman Whitaker gets his mobiles to spin so effortlessly. And where he finds the small bearings to do it! innards from a bicycle wheel hub!
@savannaswildnatureworkshop7810Ай бұрын
lyman on uses a center pole on all of his pieces... the pole is closed at the top end and a single ball bearing is in the top for the rest of the structure to rotate around very simple.

Savanna do you use bearings on the ends of the of the spinning part of the wind vane
@savannaswildnatureworkshop78102 ай бұрын
yep. I only use stainless bearings which can last for many years !

I’m messaging you because of the comments you keep leaving on my videos. I don’t know if you noticed that I delete them. Thank you for supporting my channel. But please do not leave comments talking about my boobs or nipples. Maybe you could find something else to talk about in the comments. Thank you.

Great stuff! What are you using for bearings? Sealed bearings or plan 'ol bushings?

Cones on the wheel at 3:05 must be screwed onto the rim because if you tried to weld them, the welder would probably just blow holes through the metal. We had a lady welder, my age 62 ,in my welding class recently. Thanks for the video so I could enjoy looking at you too.
@savannaswildnatureworkshop78103 ай бұрын
you're correct..the constructed tempered alum. cones are bolted to the metal frames ( not screwed ).

That is a beautiful piece of art, congratulation! As a point of fact. There have been rain gages over the ages that weighed water. I built one some years back with a chopping man worlygig on top. The chopping man has long gone but the rain gage / scale. Is still working. Again, very nice work and design. Joe
@savannaswildnatureworkshop78109 ай бұрын
the fine point here, isn't just weighing water..anyone can do that....but getting it accurate is a whole other game./.... it took a lot of vector math to get this right...not just a tetter-totter for water...got that? thanks !
