I do not like Laurel. She is nothing compare to Felicity

The reason the first season worked so well is cause Laurel was supposed to be the main love interest. In the comics she is the person Oliver ends up with. The show went into a weird direction because they liked the actor who played Felicity. She was supposed to be around for just one episode. But they liked her so much they kept her around and changed everything around. The show had every intention of Oliver ending up with laurel. But since they changed that too Felicity they didn’t know what to do with Laurel so they killed her off.

Damn Oliver was really young back then, he was also more lean, he bulk up in season 4 onwards.

Laurel Lance is the Black Canery therfore Arrow and her were *meant* to be together not Falicity freakin Geek. Goodness!

As much as I love felicity , I really think Oliver and laurel were meant for each other , how he kept her photo and her love helped him through 5 years of hell , felicity is very funny and very intelligent and I love olicity but I still think laurel should have been the one

I can see why this wasn’t included, not every scene the viewer likes is gonna make it, but this is a sweet little scene to look back on. It had some nice touches in it. Especially the rocky road bit

They shouldn't have deleted this scene, it was pivotal for so many reasons. The biggest, it showed Oliver and Laurel during a simpler and happier time in their lives during their relationship.

Katie was right, the beginning of the season showed how they were changing the show to Felicity & Friends and she was going to be shoved out of her role as lead actress. She looks like she wants to say she hates what's coming. She's a dick to Amell because he sat back and watched it all and kept his mouth shut when he could have insisted that the show stay with Laurel and Oliver being the endgame and olicity being nothing more than a passing thing. Katie and Black Canary fans were screwed by this crappy show. Glad it's ending. For me, it ended with season 1.

Man, the chemistry between Oliver and Laurel is so amazing! That's why I really hope the show will end with them finally getting married. The way it should've been.

The scene was probably deleted because laurel was in her underwear and it implied they hooked up.

Even now season 7 I still feel some chemistry between Oliver and Laurel.

Why did they cut this? This shows that Laurel wasn't ignoring the warnings to stay out of the Glades just because she felt like it. She was there trying to save things that couldn't be replaced.

For people who don't much from the comics, this shows laurel actually is the definitive black canary from the comics we all know and love as her real name isn't laurel but it's actually DINAH Laurel Lance but her friends call her laurel to avoid confusion with her mother who is also dinah lance. So basically what this means is that Laurel and Oliver are actually supposed to be together but laurel in the show falls in love with Malcolm Merlyn's son who is shows incarnation of the dark archer aka Arthur King.
