elias schloegl in the comics black canary's origin separated her into two people. The first black canary was Laurel's mother and then Laurel herself became black canary although i think the other person might have another source hinting to Laurel becoming black canary in the show.

Katie was right, the beginning of the season showed how they were changing the show to Felicity & Friends and she was going to be shoved out of her role as lead actress. She looks like she wants to say she hates what's coming. She's a dick to Amell because he sat back and watched it all and kept his mouth shut when he could have insisted that the show stay with Laurel and Oliver being the endgame and olicity being nothing more than a passing thing. Katie and Black Canary fans were screwed by this crappy show. Glad it's ending. For me, it ended with season 1.

The TV show is paving it's own road, not really taken from the comics. That being the case, l hope Laurel moves on from Ollie, he cheated on her with Sara and other women. Let Laurel fall in love with someone new and refreshing , and let Katie Cassidy have a chemistry screen test next time!! Pleassseeee..... Hey what about Eddie T. from the Flash, now that he's single 😗
