I've been experiencing a rapid heartbeat when I stand up, and sometimes even during regular activities. I also feel occasional skipped beats (ectopic beats). My ECG showed inappropriate sinus tachycardia, but an echocardiogram came back normal. I've been feeling a bit off-balance lately and dealing with some anxiety as well. My doctor prescribed ivabradine for a month. They also suggested that if I want, I could consider an electrophysiology (EP) study. I'm not sure if I should go through with the test.

I have to be so careful with vitamin and supplements, I have had some that caused me so much GI pain. I recently started on oral cromolyn sodium and that of all the things has made the biggest difference for me, my abdomen had been SO swollen, i looked 8 months pregnant all the time and over the first 2 weeks of treatment it just kind of melted away. Eating one of my trigger foods will cause it to puff right back up though. Quercetin helps me a lot, and liposomal vit C.

I was diagnosed with Hypermoblie EDS At the beginning of this year & I have had a really difficult time eating for a really long time so I asked if I could be tested for gasteoparesis but was told that people with EDS Usually does not get Gasteopraesis even though I know that many do. I can bearly eat & have to force myself to eat basically anything since I usually have no appetite & when I do, I get naceous & fell full after a few bites & have to force myself to eat the rest & it takes a long time. Eating is causing me to get really tierd & almost never full. As a result I get hungry quicker & have to force myself to eat something small again while having even less appetite so much of my day is spent eating & resting from eating.

A tip I can give you is to take folic acid with it ask your Dr first of course but it helps the b12 to work best and upping potassium intake like smoothies and such since b12 shots can deplete it a bit I'm on the shots too Oops mu brain fog acted up I realised you mentioned both the pottasium and folic acid And b12 cant work without a proper folate level they work hand and hand same with vitamin D

I developed a severe vitamin B12 deficiency back in 2012/2013 and was dismissed by my GP surgery to the point that I collapsed and was taken to A&E. I broke my arm and had lost control of my legs so couldn’t stand or walk, but still had to beg them to admit me. I was treated appallingly by some of the hospital staff, until the medical team couldn’t work out what was going on and so asked the neurologist to assess me as I had crazy reflex responses, and others that made no sense to them. Once diagnosed, I just wanted to go home as 10 days stuck there was awful! Not one of the nasty nurses apologised for not believing I was as severely sick as I was and treating me inhumanely during that time. I needed the loading doses for 3 weeks as I was so severely deficient that I was close to needing to go to the ICU to be put on CPAP or ventilated 😢. I have to have them every 10 weeks or more often as I start to get the paraesthesia and loss of control of my legs and arms if I go any longer. The fatigue has never gone away sadly, but regaining some mobility and independence from the deficiency was an immense relief. It took me a couple of months to really see that improvement though and a year to reach my new normal baseline so you may still see improvements 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻. Xxx

Hello Darling girl! God bless you! You are always in my prayers! Are you able to get folic acid in a transdermal patch? Iron makes me very sick if I had to take it orally but I have used transdermal multi- vitamin patches and some that contained B-12, D3 & K2, if I remember correctly. I was able to get them from Amazon. The B12 has never helped me even when I was prescribed injections that I had to give to myself. I could not tell any difference. I take D3 & K2 in a sublingual tablet and magnesium glycinate in an oral tablet. It does help my muscle spasms and pain. I am not taking B-12 in any form now but my CFS is terrible and don’t have any further options to try. I just thought anything supplements you need or some of them if they are available to you in a patch, should be much easier on your stomach. I would hope so!

When I first got ME/CFS it was found that I was extremely low on vitamin D too. Like you where I live everyone is low, but mine was way low. I never got injections, I took D3K2- an emulsified liquid supplement since I couldn’t handle taking it pill version. Like you I was hoping it would help but I didn’t see any improvement in energy levels and continued to worsen to my severe level I am today. Maybe the only difference was a was less sleepy, but then again I was taking cough medicine for bronchitis that I found actually had melatonin in it😅(bronchitis is what gave me ME/CFS). I find it interesting that so many people have family with ME/CFS. It doesn’t seem uncommon for a person with ME/CFS to have a child who also has it. I feel like that could be an interesting part of ME/CFS related to genetics that needs looking into.

So sorry vitamins didn’t help you either & im pretty sure Vit D isn’t usually advised as an injection in the same way that b12 is anyway, so you gave it your best shot 🫶🏽 In my case, I wasn’t really referring to specific diagnoses like ME, just more the genetic link of everything I have, that I inherited

I really think you should try the Vitamin D3 with Vitamin k2 . Start with a low dose and when you have a fews days when you are feeling better I would raise the dose and stay on that till you have no side effects than raise the dose again. Jeff T. Bowles put out a good book "The Miraculous cures and preventions of All diseases" What doctors never learned. I was able to stop the Antihistamines once about to build up my tolerance, yes it made me feel not so good at first but tolerated it till I could get up to a higher dose. As of today I am at 180,000 IU's of D3 and 90,000 mcgs of K2.

This is mad to take fish oil! Just because ‘science’ says there is more research on fish oils that’s because they are funded by the people who don’t want you to cure yourself with the correct vegan alternative. Marine algae is what the fish themselves eat! Krill is morally bankrupt. ‘Scientists’ are people funded by corporations with agendas, never forget that. And why vegetarian? Better to be paleo or vegan, dairy is terrible for all auto immune, histamine problems.

Hello……was wondering how long did it take for you to feel your blood pressure go up….on Midodrine here , pretty sure I have Eds , both my mom and I have been chronically ill all our lives, mom 73 almost 74 and me just turned 39 . I have POTS , dysautonomia…..all the regular stuff hasn’t worked eating more salt , drinking more water, eating frequently, electrolytes ZERO improvements from any of that , plus I sleep on an incline pillow post surgery pillow off Amazon. That helps a tad the incline pillow …..at night …..but nothing raises my blood pressure. Plus I take CO Q 10 and Vitamin E to help my heart. Plus heart disease runs deep on my mother’s side of the family. My grandmother on my mom’s side had low blood pressure and needed a pacemaker in the 90’s. My younger brother had a heart murmur as a child and had to wear a holter monitor which he hated. I never had any heart problems as a child, vaccine damaged my heart 16 years ago but that healed echocardiogram showed it healed 2014, but now dysautonomia POTS.

@@GeorginasJourney Thanks 😊 Yes after 2-3 days of 2.5 mg , my dr 👨‍⚕️ did put down he wanted me to titrate up to 10mg 3x daily . One of the lucky ones here I need the 10mg . Today took 2x 10 mg and then 3 pills on my last dose . Definitely 👍 brought it up today . 2.5 mg was doing ZILCH on me. Tried 5 mg STILL ZILCH . So today I started on 10 mg . I also have Addison’s disease so I also need Fludrocortisone and my dr 👨‍⚕️ was surprised 😮 it didn’t raise my blood pressure. Before midodrine started. He suggested midodrine, I asked for Fludrocortisone adrenal wise . Which he happily agreed to try me on. Took years to find a dr 👨‍⚕️ like the one I have. Number #6 doctor who is finally doing genetic testing on me. He feels and so do I about Ehlers danlos syndrome which fully adds up why? My mother has been chronically sick 73 + years and me now 39 years just turned July 17. Plus he is also checking out Mafan syndrome sent me for an echocardiogram recently as Mafan syndrome can affect the heart. Heart disease runs extremely deep in my mom’s family. My grandmother 👵 on my moms side , I was very close to, she died of a stroke 2002, her husband and son had heart problems, my mother has congestive heart failure on Entresto. Plus other meds and has a cardiologist herself. My Grandmother on my mom’s side they did a stress test and discovered she had low blood pressure and needed a pacemaker. From the 90’s. I guess I take after her. Even before Addison’s started I always had lower blood pressure without dizziness. Now I know where chronic fatigue and massive brain fog 😶‍🌫️ comes from. Can’t even drive a car 🚗 yet. I know I have POTS , dysautonomia. My naturopath diagnosed it but nothing has helped . Extreme dizziness for years a miracle I haven’t fallen down the stairs. Praying 🙏🏻 this midodrine helps. My pharmacist spoke to her today said it does take time to work in the body but I mentioned my bp numbers to her and she said on the higher dose it is slow working. I actually got a bp reading today of 121/75 ……that is almost a perfect 👍 reading …..I have never been up to 120 over 80 ever.

Yeah the arts and crafts section is interesting. I used to love journaling and writing poetry but I found it too exhausting to continue. For a few years I switched to photography and photographed birds in the garden but then I got too sick to go in the garden and hold up the big camera and edit the photos. So I tried scrapbooking which I loved but cost a ton of energy. So I tried colouring books but just found it super boring. I think finding the right activity hard. But since I’m also a bookworm and can still listen to audiobooks I just focus on that instead. I prioritise life essentials and audiobooks above everything else so even when I’m really bad I usually manage at least a few minutes of audiobooks. I think we have to find a combo of what we can manage and what we love. If I tried embroidery or diamond art I just know I wouldn’t love it so I wouldn’t be willing to prioritise it!

Photography is a lot harder than people think so I know exactly where you’re coming from with that, I gave that up many years ago too & pleased I did. Agreed, scrapbooking is not a manageable one unless you have either a lot of energy or a lotttt of care hours. Thats really great you’re doing well with audiobooks though ☺️
