With the success of those Resident Evil remakes and the new Silent Hill 2 remake, now WB wants to fully remake Batman: Arkham Asylum from the ground up. It would unfortunately probably be without Kevin Conroy also, I doubt they would reuse the same voice over lines. It would probably end up being Roger Craig Smith playing Batman like he did in Arkham Origins and that new Arkham VR game.

So in regards to the handling of Batman vs Bruce Wayne, my coworker said something that helped me understand or suspend my disbelief more. And that is that he was SUPPOSED to be bad at being Bruce Wayne, he hasn't adjusted to the double life and hasn't figured out how to be the playboy. I only watched the movie once and thought it was fine, I am planning on watching it again to see if my opinion changes.

I have watched Batman and Batman Returns countless times. I watched Batman Forever and Batman & Robin once when they came out. I can not rewatch the Schumacher Batman movies. I've tried and just can't do it. And I really like Val Kilmer. But just cannot stomach Schumacher's Batman movies. lol. The best thing to come out of his movies were the one liners from Mr. Freeze. But that's just Arnold being Arnold. To each their own though. Enjoyed the review and recap.

It's amazing how Tommy Lee Jones told Jim Carrey that he hated his buffoonery, and yet in this movie his character is just almost as wild Jim Carrey's Riddler instead of how Two-Face should be portrayed. Also, I understand the call back of the "holy rusted metal" quote, but I never understood why they never let Robin continue with the holy exclamations. Jokingly, if they added the exclamations in "Batman and Robin" it would rival against Arnold's ice puns.

Like Alex, I too had a shitload of Batman Forever toys as a kid. The Batmobile where you could pop the wheels off and pop on either the Batwing's wings or the Batboat's... boat front(?) is even more iconic to me than the BTAS Batmobile with the glider inside.
