I am looking for a way to DISABLE the 40 mph auto lowering function. I would like to keep my 2007 Hummer H2 rear air bags at the highest setting without it automatically lowering at 40 mph.
@CustomKeem Жыл бұрын
Since it’s electronically controlled, put solenoid somewhere between the valve body and air shock. Run the control wires to the cab. You’d have to determine whether you want normally open or normally closed solenoids. Doing that is going to put a “service suspension” on the dash. You can bypass that service fault with a device from Arnott
@DIZEMANPHOTO Жыл бұрын
@@CustomKeem It had crossed my mind to cut into the power wire going to the compressor and to run wires to the dash adding a switch to cut power to the compressor once I put the air bags at their highest point. Then when I needed them to come down I could just hit the switch on the dash to allow power back to the compressor so the bags would go down. But did not know if the bags would stay up with power to the compressor cut or if the was some other valve control that would deflate the bags at 40 mph even if the compressor was disabled after the bags were inflated.
@CustomKeem Жыл бұрын
There is a separate exhaust valve for deflating.

That's not correct. The harness you need is behind/under the stereo. Do not do this! Yes you have power to the controller, but it's not actually activating the trailer brakes because that plug in doesn't have the correct pins.

This is a slop wiring job. Add to that, that battery needs to be moved into the garage. that casing is never going to last outside. The solar installation industry is the wild wild west w few regulations. One outfit I interviewed was a salesman and an electrical engineer working out of a garage and hiring ALL contractor workers for the actual work! They cost about half what the rest did, but good luck if something goes wrong in 10 years and they're long gone. Another outfit was being kept afloat by angel investors pumping money in for 5 years straight. Do your homework and you can fine some great companies out there. One such is NC Solar Now. When I've had a bump w something (the inverter not talking to the wifi) they were there to fix it. Yah. Got 45 panels for a lot less than that this. Paying 20 bucks a month for the grid tie w zero for electricity because the system was well-sized.
@jonathannoll70712 жыл бұрын
The battery and inverter have to be on the inside of the home. The battery probably won't work right after the first extreme weather shift.
