Very nicely done. I especially appreciate the extensive details along with the prices. Most people lie. You did not lie and you did not attempt to be deceptive. This is one major nice review/description!! The best part is, you did the work yourself or you supervised the work done by others, according to your specifications and desires; that means that you will not have to worry about discovering other people's mistakes. The southeast U.S. is littered with shops advertising custom builds; I don't know of one that I'd trust to build a bike for me... not one!! These projects are always done best by the owner. Hiring someone for a build is usually disastrous. The same applies to repairs. New subscriber with the "bell." Good job!!!

I swap between 2 different Klockwerks. Short one is great looking. The taller one is great for longer rides. I do have the RDRS. It helps tremendously. Just pulling in the brakes to lock it, then pop the air ride down while waiting at the light. Then do the reverse real quick when it changes; and I’m off.

@@CustomKeem I've got a Bad Boyz Cyclez backrest too! Love it! George is a great guy! You should consider getting heated grips. They are great to have. My wife had the cool-flow fan put on her 2018 Road Glide 107 but she has not been impressed with it. We rode to Sturgis and back and she is not impressed with it. She doesn't feel it makes enough of a difference to justify what she paid for it and the labor. Just an FYSA...think about it.

I installed the Coolflow myself; posted the video as well. I had air ride switches where the fan switch was supposed to go and also a safety switch where the fan was supposed to go. So my install would have been more; which is why I installed myself to save that cost.

Toby Northen I didn’t do heated grips our seat because I’ve had the entire Hotwired set: gloves, shoe insole, jacket and pants for a few years. I’m able to unplug from one bike and plug into the other. My passenger also gets to plug in

I have Dirty Air shocks for air ride. Depends on what you want to spend on the speakers. Having expensive speakers without the supporting equipment could be worse than what you may have now.

Thanks, good observation. But I had the camera installed before I had my air ride installed. So when they installed the air ride, they made sure that when it’s dropped it doesn’t hit and then when raised it won’t hit. The distance between fender and fairing on Harley is twice as much as my GSXR.

lol. Bike in the shop getting new short block. Took it in because head gasket was leaking. They found that the flywheel was locked up. I rode it up until the day I took it in so I had no knowledge of it being locked up. They’re also installing the Baker Grudge Box

OK. That is one sweet bike. Love that color. Adding up what you've spent on it thus far, is around 42 to 44 k. T.T. & L out the door. I agree with you you on the upgrade to the motor to either a 124 or the 131. Thinking of buying myself one in this same color. Have wondered what kind of numbers you're coming back with after you had the 131 installed. Are you having cooling issues? One last question. What was the cooling fan for you had in the box, that you were going to need to relocate that switch for? All in all, one sweet ride. SCOTTISH PRIDE I didn’t get the dyno numbers. Haven’t had any cooling issues. I currently have 13k+ miles on bike. 8k on 131. Cooling fan is to keep heat off your leg. Not necessarily for the engine; more for rider and passenger comfort

The front spoiler which attaches to the bottom of the fairing and runs down to the oil cooler part number is: 57001042ELG You’ll have to get the chopped engine guard: 49000117A I don’t have the other part numbers. I just went to the parts counter and told them to order it. The front wrap fender I’m getting I have another shop order it that will also be painting it.

Beautiful piece of American machinery, i too have done an RG build but you got me by bit, like you said CVO is very nice but it’s Harley’s way i wanted it my way, i would like to know if you went with a programer like a power commander or the Harley Race Tuner & what kind of numbers did you end up with after it was Dyno Tuned as far as Horse Power & Torque at the rear wheel, thanks in advace for the info if you know it, congrats on the beautiful build, also love the color & the nice matching stitching on the seating.

I went with Harley tuner. I didn’t get the numbers from them because they had my bike for a whole month getting it right. So I was just ready to get it and go without even saying a word to them. After my year warranty is up, I may go with a different tuner abs remove the governor.

Just ordered a 2021 roadglide limited. Only thing I'll do is a heel shifter and highway pegs. I found the 114 to have good power. We tour alot 2up so it will be perfect.( for now) funny you got TC and then did a 131 kit.

I bought the lids I had when I first got the bike. It took me forever to decide to put them in though. I was thinking brand new bike and now I’m going to cut it up. Finally got around to it after realizing all the other things I’ve done. Wish I would have done it sooner. I can’t add the lower fairing speakers because I have the copper engine guard. There is one guy on KZbin that has 3D printed his but he doesn’t have the fang fairing; he only has the engine guard. Plus he’s saying in the comments $1500+ for the lowers painted. I think I’ll pass. My sounds are loud enough as is

Idk, tires or air ride. Tires: monitored through RDRS so as long as I don’t have a warning light, I don’t check it. Air ride: just have to get a feel for what’s right.

Notice you are running center stand with dual exhaust. How you get that to work with the crossover pipe?

@@tony22226 it mounts up no problem. Only issue is when it folds back. You don’t have the same clearance as with the dummy pipe or single side exhaust. I used to scrape it sometimes when getting into a turn. I eventually just took it off after I put the 131 on. Because I was riding more like a sport bike rather than a cruiser.

With the 19 inch it didn’t, when I put the 21 inch on there it did so I moved it over more to the clutch side

What did you do to close the gab on the cvo seat and the dash?

@@CustomKeem I just installed a cvo seat on my 2020 RG special, I have a small 1/2 inch gap at the front of the seat where the dash meets the seat. I have seen online where this is a common issue, I was just wandering what you did to close the gap between the seat and the dash?

@@lineman198625I used a dremel. The seat has 2 oval slots that go over the 2 bolts coming up out the rear fender. If you open the oval more, this will allow you to push the seat forward then tighten it while it’s forward. So put the seat over the bolts but don’t put on the twist nuts. Take something and mark the plastic at the bolt location. Take your dremel and open these locations. Do a little at a time and test fit until you get seat at desired location.
