Thank you for having this up. I was so stuck already at the beginning. The first canon you don't even use! With that BS, I devided to look this lvl up and boy, I'm glad I did. This is crazy. Worse, than any London LvL, Opera House or Temple of Xian. At least those were beatable for me and could figure them on my own.

I got into tomb raider in dec 1997 after one of dads friends lent us the demo of tomb raider for my new playstation consolie I was so happy to find the games where made in my native county derbyshire ☺I never knew till now tomb raider gold is called directors cut in germany i thought the whole of europe would have the same title.I think i like directors cut better as a title.😂

I remember when I first learned about it, it was in the late 90s, early 2000s when almost everyone was talking about it, it was the Tomb Raider boom, I even remember that vibe - PS one, old computers, genuine enthusiasm, the world seemed so alive and promising! and it was like that until ~2008 after which everything started to fade.

This takes me back when I was playing this on sky game star as a kid 🙏🏾

This level made me want to throw this game in the trash. Not even almost fun

Finally visited Venice today after all these years. Played the violin song and had a little dance by the canal with one of those motorboats going by in the background. Remembered playing this on the PS1 all those years ago, could say it was an inspiration!

Honestly I think I struggled a lot less in the canoe section than some people, I found the controls annoyingly realistic but got the hang of it

Thank you for helping me through the last few levels. I love tomb raider when the puzzles are compact and moving through rather than backtracking larger levels. My favourite being area 51. Roll on the next 3 being remastered. Hoping the later games have less backtracking. Thanks again for the walkthrough.

My very first PS1 Game in 1997! 😢

I could never figure this level out. As a kid the in-game lighting was always waaay too dark and I was playing on a small TV screen so I couldn't see shit.

31:26 I'm dumb ngl (literally the only moment I had a problem with in this particular level; but I'm lucky I noticed a key after killing that guard). In the first level of london I had a problem with jumping to that small water pithole instead of climbing on steel monkey bars (glad I had a save), in the second one I got a few problems mostly due to an overwhelming area, second time forgotting steel monkey bars and being too dark in remaster (playing classic graphics)

Fun fact: Final boss is the same guy as in Opera house. His arm is bandaged here from his last fight with Lara. Even funnier that you could have defeated him with the grenade launcher at the Opera house which would make it hard to put Humpty Dumpty back together.

SAVE before you kill the 2 statues at 25:49, my game glitched because I killed one of the statues too close to a wall, and the sword item it's supposed to drop realistically clipped through the wall and now I can't progress. :'(

My very first Tomb Raider game was TR Legend and now I am playing 1-3 remastered, so as soon as I heard this theme I had to add it to my playlist, it’s gonna be very nice to listen to when I’m walking in the country side 😌

This level in particular looks BEAUTIFUL in the remastered version. Even though I prefer old graphics, but I HAD TO play this with the remastered graphics. The lighting is beautiful.

The old Tomb Raiders were more like Horror Games. They were full of creepiness
