Der Roland hat erzählt er geht an Silvester in die Stadthalle lässt seine Jacke im Auto, um Mitternacht schleicht er sich an das Buffet und bedient sich. Ohne Eintritt zu bezahlen, dann fragen ihn seine Bekannten, Roland seit wann bist du da, ach sagt er dann, schon lange. Er dei mal da dann mal da. Ansonsten ist er sehr großzügig

We enjoyed two tours of Wiesbaden. Loved everything about the City. Cried for half an hour on the plane when we had to leave for a change of station to Texas in the 1980's.

Leider ist Ludwigshafen ziemlich zerfallen in den letzten 30 Jahren. Zum einen sind die Deutschen aus der Stadt in die Vororte geflohen und haben dadurch Raum für arabische Milieus und Kriminalität geschaffen. Deswegen sieht die Innenstadt langsam aus wie ein verwahrlostes Ghetto. Jeder Charme wird im Keim erstickt. Islamische Gewalt und Antisemitismus sind überall sichtbar. Es ist traurig was man hier hat entstehen lassen...

Ich bin in Ludwigshafen aufge- wachsen , was allerdings schon einige Jahre her ist und bin ent- setzt was aus dieser Stadt mittler- weile geworden ist. Was man hier auf diesem Video zu sehen bekommt ist nur die Spitze des Eisbergs und zeigt noch die an- genehmeren Seiten dieser Stadt. Die Wirklichkeit ist deutlich schlimmer. Siehe Danziger Platz,Ludwigstrasse und das Areal um den ehemaligen Rathauscenter,um nur einige zu nennen. Ich spreche hier aus Erfahrung, ich habe Ludwigshafen gerade eben besucht. Eine Stadt im absoluten Niedergang!
