Hiding/ignoring a period of a country's time for lost souls and for the sake of "They were too monstrous to be remembered", Is not only disrespectful but dishonoring to the country as whole. It is a culture and it is disgraceful to be not proud of what was once an idea of which it is a pride.

It’s so weird to me that the Weimar Republic was able to afford “luxuries” like a military (under the Treaty their military was so heavily neutered it wouldn’t have really helped them in an actual war) considering the horrendous economic situation at the time.

Very good army but Wermacht more better but They lost fallen wars. My step grandfather was fight in Eastern front World War 1 he killed very much soldiers but he survivor 1914-1918 he go home. But later he died 1925 because puk very much blood rivers his stomach totally damaged in Eastern front he drinked very much Rotter waters from street road and forest because he have not water and he was very thirsty he not not wanted die he wanted surviving survivor he drinked very much bacteria dirty waters this killed he later very bloody stomach very sad. I never not talked he. I have his soldier very old Husar photo maked about 1910-1914. He Hold Sword his hand Hi wearing Husar uniform and hat. My other Grandfather died Stalingrad 1943 Don river. My other Grandfather have leg damaged from bullets grenades and he later 2 legs full amputation he died 2001
