Redesign it in extruded aluminum and you've got a money making item.

Aluminum ones can be bought for around 50 bucks and last for decades. You build ones out of wood they are great when you first build them but when they fail there is no warning. Spend the money buy the real thing.

I'm a tall guy if i lean back too far to grab something i can tip the ladder because I shift my center of gravity. That thing would shift it as well. Be careful. Make sure you got a steep angel on that ladder.

As a carpenter ill say this is genious. But one would have to do proper ground work before using it or else its dangerous.And it will never be approved on a job site. So dont do this on a job. 9/10 👍
