AWESOME, what a way to spend an evening - I was praying for you to hold it in 3rd over the mountain heading up to Hall bends :)
@FlawlessCulture4 күн бұрын
Yeah it was a great evening, weather held up too which was good, great time with the lads. Yeah a few driver mods required plenty of track time required with the car me thinks. Feels totally different having the diff too so need to get use to how it drives with a diff.

Really good actually, pretty impressed with them considering there a cheap coilover suspension. I've been on plenty of track days and they've performed, so I can't complain.

Good job pal, always a good feeling when you are able to do it yourself. You save a fortune learning how to do your own work. These mark 3,s are actually decent old cars for what they are. I had a 2.0tdci ghia went like stink unfortunately the DMF went. But I paid £600 for it put 40k in 3 years on it and scrapped it for £425. Got a 2.0 petrol now.

i absolutely recomend a baffled oil pan, oil cooler and a diff. also you might want to reconsider if cams are really neccessary. especially skunk2 ones.... on a track car, reliability is the most Important imo and ive personaly seen Skunk2 parts fail too often. they may work for a car that runs full chat for 12 seconds but the stress a car has to take on a racetrack is a whole different thing then what a street or drag car has to endure. only use absolutely prooven parts. imo oem parts are the best. like for example jdm k20a cams? not sure if they are an upgrade to the k20a2 cams.

Enjoyed that man! Civic sounds fantastic, and ofcourse the R33 does too. Sounds like the original RB25DET, is that right? You held your own on the corners as you say, that skyline has that long straight power for sure aswell. What sort of power is it? I’ve filmed at Cadwell quite a few times and I can’t imagine how quick you have to react for that track. Tight and twisty with some fast corners, good driving man.
