@@FlawlessCulture I was told by a seasoned drag racer that track tyres are not very good for the drag strip, the sidewalls are too stiff, which kinda makes sense, there was a guy launching way harder than I could with similar power, and he was running Uniroyal rainsports ha ha

No they are not ideal, you get wheel hop which isnt good for CV, axles or Gearbox. Whereas Slicks will give and stop all this, also tyre pressures make a big difference too. I don't plan to run the AR1's for long but I'm struggling to find a slick supplier in the UK.

Did you warm them up in the burnout box prior to going up the strip.
