Many really wealthy people I know care less about the social implications of buying fakes. Plus, they might look down on "hillbillies" who spend so much money on a ridiculously overpriced bag. With luxury brands once again raising prices and limiting inventory, the replica version of kislux is even more attractive.
@EswarNeon3 күн бұрын
I've had designer pieces and knockoffs of kislux . I ultimately prefer the knockoffs because I'm not worried about scratching it, preserving it, or someone stealing it.

Very helpful, thank you for this tutorial! I had plans to needle felt a rose for my valentines but quickly realised it would take a million years lol. Over 30 minutes for a single petal. I'm going to wet felt a sheet of pink wool, cut out the petals and then needle felt them together instead
@ABCrafty2 күн бұрын
Love that! You may want to under-felt it a little bit (at least at the points where the petals will be attached) so that you'll be able to needle felt them together more easily

@ABCrafty7 күн бұрын
That's odd. I'll reach out to the company to see, but what you might be seeing is an additional 5% on top of their discounted items if there's a sale going on. So in total it should be at least over 20% if there's a sale

That's odd it's showing that, I'll reach out to the team to see. I know with the sales they have going on, the code takes an additional amount off, but last I checked it was a total of over 30%.

Wait…for that first step with the oval holes, did you backstitch? The sewing might still undo itself if you don’t backstitch a couple of times, even if you melt the ends with a lighter.
@ABCrafty7 күн бұрын
I didn't backstitch on those as I was following their instructions to start. I'm not concerned about it though since those stitches are decorative and not structural.

I appreciate you making the video but if I could make a suggestion ,please go slow and explain how to come around the corners. Say it several times and maybe use the needle to show where you are talking about. The part where we add the front pouch and going around the sides was very hard to understand. I did slow the speed but that did not help. Again, thank you for making the video.

Thanks for the feedback! The second corner I go around is better than the first in terms of the explanation

I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for kislux , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, itâs your choice. No judgement from me

Thank you so much for your video. Between yours and Babylon leather’s video I was able to get through this so quick. Your video really helped a lot. Only 1 think I saw with my video it said 6x the length for the bottom inside panel (which has the hole for the feet) but when you count what the person does it is only 4x the length….😅
@ABCrafty7 күн бұрын
Yay, glad it was helpful! Yeah, I remember with their videos the length they count is sometimes more or less than what they actually do. Always better to measure out more though!

@ABCraftyАй бұрын
Nice! What's funny is I also liked how the two-tone came out. So then in that case plan for it so that you'll have the big piece and sides facing out (so you can burn the ends on the bag side)

Well done you! I am so glad that you did this in real time with no overlying music or chatter, I find that distracts from the instruction. Great camera work and sound. I feel I have learned so much. Thank you for sharing this free tutorial,very generous of you to do all that work with no expectation of compensation. I have watched many youtube presentations on wet felting and yours is the best by far. Clear and slow directions. you are the first person to finally tell me the direction of the bubble wrap smooth side out!

I gave you a thumbs up for learning content. I must say however that you talk too fast, making it hard to follow along causing me to stop rewind and try to follow several times. I will be looking for another slower speaking learning video.
@ABCraftyАй бұрын
Thanks for the like! haha yeah I definitely talk quickly and totally get it's not for everyone. One tip that was a game changer for me is you can adjust the video speed - in the bottom right corner of any video you can click on the settings icon and under 'playback speed' you can adjust it to your preference.
@rallen9433Ай бұрын
@ABCrafty hahahah then it will make you sound funny. I might just try it.. thanks for the suggestion. R.

I made my first toque yesterday on my sentro but was wondering how many rows to so for a toddler 🤔
@ABCraftyАй бұрын
You would need a knitting machine with fewer needles or the circumference would be too big. I have yet to use a smaller machine so I'm not sure how many rows it would be, but you could use the one you made as a swatch and count the rows per inch. After a quick google search it appears 8 inches is the average length for a toddler's beanie so you'd want to do 8 x the number of rows in the swatch

Great video, thank you for sharing. I am torn between getting the pink or tan. Will you please speak to the quality of the leather. I have never purchased from this company. Thanks.
@ABCraftyАй бұрын
Thanks! I'm not a leather expert, but I went down a rabbit hole of leather info. They use top grain leather, which is a higher grade than "genuine leather," which is generally what you'll come across. Hermes uses full grain, which is the best quality. So this is a level just below that, but higher than most of the leather we come across.
@BeccsResendeАй бұрын
The materials used are top notch. The leather feels soft and luxurious, exactly like the real thing. The stitching is impeccable, with no loose or uneven lines. The hardware (including the iconic CC twist lock clasp) is durable, well made, and adds to the overall elegance of the bag kislux . I thought everyone who owned an LV monogram bag knew that it was obviously coated canvas? When people spend a fortune on an expensive bag, they might as well buy a replica
