This was good, but didn't show me what I was looking for. I wanted to see WHICH hole in the front bracket (on the deck) that the rod went into???? Also, does it matter which side that rod goes into the hole?? From the left side or right side? Doesn't seem like it would make a difference either way, but there are two holes in the bracket and one hole is about 3 inches from the other hole. Using one hole or the other will make a difference raising the deck, I would think, and maybe how it levels the deck (front to back)???
@FloridaJoe36 ай бұрын
I'm sorry but I made this video 9 years ago and unfortunately don't remember many of the details. Also, my video work is terrible if you need details. What I would do if I was wondering which hole to put the rod into is look for wear on either of the holes and go with the one that looks the most worn. Good luck with it.
@kebo576 ай бұрын
@@FloridaJoe3 Thanks, but I found my answer watching several other videos showing how to level the deck on Toro Timecutter ZT mowers. That locating rod seems to go into the "rearward" hole that closer to the rear of the mower. Plus, it seems to be installed into the hole from the Left hand side (as if you are sitting on the mower). Hope things are going well in Florida for you! Thanks!!!

Very helpful thank you ! ... My girlfriend's model came with the front brake cables routed incorrectly and will not reach. The front pad rubs...any tips or suggestions?
@FloridaJoe37 ай бұрын
Thank you for the kind comment. If one brake pad is rubbing, you should be able to twist the whole assembly so that the brake assembly is centered about the wheel (you may have to loosen the brake mounting bolt). If both pads are rubbing, then you need to loosen the brake cable to open the calipers a little bit. Obviously, retighten every bolt/screw that you loosen after you finish adjusting. Good luck with it.

2:22 had me laughing!! You were so calm about it too which made it even funnier! Anyway thanks for making this video. We were having problems with our bowl being too low and I thought I had to adjust screw clockwise which I couldn't turn any tighter. The factory had it set at max tight. When I watched your video the part that made me realize I had to turn screw counterclockwise was when you had the white strip showing the bowl height 6:42 and what happens when you turn the screw/cam. It made sense so I tried turning the screw on ours counterclockwise about 1/4 turn to maybe half a turn. That made the bowl come up and the dime test worked much better! I am leaving it alone for now to see if it's good or not. Thanks again!

I'm 5'2" weigh 85 pounds, after becoming my mothers caregiver. I haven't been very active, since the change. I was a very active person b4 this move. I've lost 25 pounds due to inactivity and decided to buy a bike, to build bk muscle weight, etc. The day I looked at the directions, my mouth dropped opened! I was lost, bc I didn't know which directions to follow! So thankful I found your video. I'll be honest, it took me over the course of 3 nights, on & off it took me about 6 hours to complete the bike. Most of it was concerning the brakes. I had put together another mountain bike 6 years ago. Being honest, I didn't do anything: no adjustments, etc. Thus time I watched, rewound the video over & over again, to make sure I know what had to be done. Wheels are spinning with no problem, bikes are adjusted. It's ready to go. So thankful to have found your video. In 4 hours, the sun will start rising and I will be bike riding!
