This is getting built on the tiniest rectangle on the biscayne Blvd exit in Edgewater. Expect to have plenty of noise from exiting traffic from I - 195 and crowded 1 way roads on 36th street. I seriously don’t know how they will have any space for amenities. New construction seems to be shrinking by the build.

Another ultra-luxury brand has made its mark in Miami, but this one has changed the skyline. Aston Martin Residences Miami is the newest kid on the block, at 300 Biscayne Boulevard. It would be the first residential and architectural project for the brand, best known for its luxury vehicles, which date back to 1913. Also a first, it stands as the tallest all-residential building south of New York. Construction started back in 2019 for the 66-story building. The address houses 391 ultra-luxury condominiums where the Miami River meets Biscayne Bay. According to the company, 99% of condominiums have already been sold and one in eight homeowners own an Aston Martin. (Local 10 News - May 6, 2024)

I like 2200 as well. It’s kind of like a single-family home and a condo. And they have four bedroom condo units. By the way, hub is also an office building.

It’s a big development, that 44 story tower was supposed to be rental apartments but now it’s going to be condos rated for Airbnb and vacation rentals. It’s becoming the new trend in Miami now. And Bakar is a big development as well. We already got the condo tower for that but there might be a second 80 story tower.

Ora…. That’s one of my favorite condos in that area. And it’s gonna be under the brand of a very famous membership club and restaurant in Miami. Some of the condos are going to be rated for Airbnb. They even have four bedroom condos. They are pretty cheap for Brickell new construction high rises

There might be three small marketing problems here. 1. Why would any building want to be associated is an ICE car compnay in decline? This seems a bit strange. 2. Daimler-Benz admitted its links with the Nazi regime, google it yourself. Maybe this appeals to boomers. 3. Lastly, I don't think i would want to be associated with some sort of "label" or "brand name".... i think there is something to be said for understated luxury..... something this isn't. This reminds me of the Thatcher quote, "Being powerful is like being a lady. If you have to tell people you are, you aren't.”" Nonetheless, this is a beautiful residential building in a beautiful area.

The condos' intended clientelle are status-seeking and flashy with their wealth; they want everyone to know they have money. It's the same thing going on in Dubai with luxury car-branded apartment towers coming up all over the place. European luxury car brands are still synonymous with luxury and wealth, so many people find it rather appealing to live in such a branded apartment tower. People will automatically think you're a big shot if you tell them you live in the "Mercedes condo." And this actually seems to be working. In Dubai, such branded towers are selling really well.

1. The company is not in decline. After COVID the sales are increasing again. 2. So what? Do you know that was 80 years ago? There is not any Nazi regime today. Many big german companies had links with the Nazi at that time, because it was not possible to survive wtithout working at least a little bit together with the government. And many big companies in other countries had links with their own dictatorships but they don't admit it officially. 3. Most people want to be associated with brands, or why do you think brands are so successful today.

@@RK-bx1by i think you are probably right. there is also a very impressive "Ashton Martin" condo in Miami. seems to be a very nice building. my rich friends and I all agree with your sentiment. we would never want to call attention ourselves for merely having a lot of money. nothing better than understated luxury.

A six-bedroom apartment??? on Fisher Island...???? Isn't the median age 75? the future apartments look absolutely beautiful, and I feel sad that I can't afford one, but I felt compelled to comment anyway. I had no idea there were couples who needed six bedroom dwellings, on Fisher Island.
