For those curious and want to watch the show, as of March 27, 2024, Antenna TV (an OTA sub channel) is airing The Drew Carey Show for the first time. To my knowledge, Laff stopped airing it a few years ago and Rewind TV still airs it, just less frequently as they used to. I’ve read articles, fandom posts and blogs talking about how there aren’t any plans to add this quality show to a DVD box set or streaming service (which it so rightly should be as this show was gold). You can only stream/buy the very first season OR catch reruns on sub channels like Antenna TV or Rewind TV. I’m shocked, especially after 20 years since the show’s finale. Heck, you can purchase DVD box sets for shows that lasted 2-3 seasons and yet this is not the case with The Drew Carey Show. Someone should start a petition and send it to ABC (the shows original network and rights holder). I’d like to own this show on a DVD box set along with my others.

I used to sing this song to my baby to get him to stop crying! I never watched the Drew Carey Show when it was new, but years later I caught the show and this theme song on Laff TV those nights when my newborn son would not sleep until I sang to him, bounced him around and gave him some fresh milk. I’m tired just thinking about it, but totally worth it. The way our lives are now, I would have those years all over again.
