I recently got this book. What made your review better than a few others i saw is the time spent in each section and the examples of your colouring.

To make a pen write again if the water method doesn't work .. is get some needle nose pliers and a safety pen and some paper towels.. after unscrewing the silver top , with the pliers pull the tip off the pen and take the safety pen and push down into back of tip and wipe on paper towel... sometimes ink can gum up in the tip... with tip still off roll on paper towel until ink is coming thru.. then put back together.. I haven't found a pen yet that this won't fix the skipping on ...

Peta..love your video on this lovely book. Can you tell me the name of the Czech tiny paint pallets that you suggested. I could not make out the name when you said it. Maybe it is no longer available...but I would love to find out if it is still maybe on Amazon. Thanks so much.

Hi Peta, it's been a while since I have had the pleasure of seeing one of your videos, and I really enjoyed this one. I really appreciate the fact that you always give us suggestions on art supplies to use in the books you review, and particularity about markers that may or may not bleed through on the book you are telling us about. Your colored in pages all looked very lovely, and I really was happy to see them. Thank you so much for sharing!

I bought this one, so it's nice to see what you've done with it, to inspire me to get back to it. I found myself a bit annoyed, as a cat lover, that the cats had such similar faces and such stiff poses. They really are just vessels for the art elements arround them, rather than full, physically interacting characters of difforent visual kinds of cat. Bringing such cats to life felt like a worthwhile and accessible challenge, however, since, giving this simple style life and making them feel interestingly diferent from one-another really is a job for the colourist. On the steampuck kitty you couloured, I went for a copper and aqua emphasis, since it can be hard to do steampuck if you get bored staying with too much brown. That worked well too. Thanks. It's so awesome to see the dirrection someone else goes with this one and gets me returning to it.

Hi 8 years later……..the FaberCastell Classics are one of my favourite budget/student grade. I find I can layer with them until the moon turns blue…..I think I stopped at 8 layers the time I did it. Awesomeness and to think they were always in my house and I never thought of using them until recently. Thanks for a great video.

So well done. Simple Art For Adults recommended you. The layout of your coloring, blending and the speed coloring is a big help too. Thank you for taking the time and care to help us. Can you do a tutorial or something to tell us the coloring books in your opinion that has the best paper for Prismacolor. Thanks . Off to the next video.

Your videos are a legacy and I'm glad I found them. Here it is, Feb. 1, 2024, and we are still enchanted and learning from your tutorials. I've been painting and drawing for 70 years so everything you teach isn't really new as we painters use these techniques, but what is new and inspiring is how to use colored pencils to achieve those same results. Thank you.

Thanks for all your tutorials. You asked mr Anjali about my problems. They are increasing day by day . Torture, throwing us out , not letting us take basic emmenities. Instead of giving us any justice we are been tortured and not letting us take our basic emmenities . We are being threatened and beaten every where and not letting us go any where.
