that not true. the sony c800 is a new mic in comparison to other mic companies, made in 92. plus the capsule and tube are wayyy different from that of the cv12. c800g is the japanese take on A tube mic. its a good one tho

Yea, I been looking at this mic for a minute. If I'm not mistaken, I BELIEVE Taylor Swift used this mic at one point. Don't quote me on it though lol. Could've sworn I heard that somewhere. Can't trust what you hear these days though lol 🤷🏾♂ I'm using the AKG P220(mine is the Perception 220 lol). To me it sounds dope. Been using it for a while recording vocals from other singers. I also have a clone U87 knockoff mic I got for about &45 on Amazon 🙈. Lol it doesn't sound too bad though. It's def useable when processed right!
