I'm looking at digging natural pond. The ground is clay so once I puddle the clay can the water table still fill the pond?
@exploryfor
@exploryfor 8 ай бұрын
I'm not entirely sure how that would work in the context of a pond, but if the water table is close enough to the surface and doesn't vary too much throughout the year I guess it makes sense to not use puddling clay. But probably best to check other sources anyway

Hello everyone, some of you may have noticed that part of this video was already published a few weeks ago ;p this is because in the process of editing the video, I realized it made no sense to have 2 episodes for this adventure. Apologies for this, and if you have seen it already, just skip to 12:28 :)

Hey thanks alot !! I used my phone to do that and record the footage ( except in the part you just watched where I used a camera)

@@exploryfor I'm so glad to see it can be completed with just a phone! I'm planning to cross Prague with a friend, he'll have a camera, I'll be filming on my phone, GPS is also just on my phone. Weren't you worried about the inaccuracy of the GPS measurement? I mean, when I'm walking through the city - alongside a house - and therefore with a limited view of the sky, the deviation from the actual position is suddenly more than five meters. I mean, in the open countryside it's different, but what about in the woods where you're shielded by trees?
@pan_Psax
@pan_Psax Жыл бұрын
@@exploryfor Oh, I see you on r/straightlinemissions so I'll continue with the interrogation there. ;)
@exploryfor
@exploryfor Жыл бұрын
That is indeed a valid concern ! I know the signal deviates for sure, especially under trees. However, I am not sure that deviation is actually greater than what you would get with a proper GPS device? If you find an answer to that question I would be interested. What I I like though with using the phone is just how easy it is to use a device you know well with a good app that you can costumize to your preferences, which helps navigate and get all the info you need to stay on the line

You're very welcome! good question :p from what I can tell they are formed when a volcano crater collapses into a caldera, which creates circular fractures which get filled in with magma forming a dyke
