I don't know, yuriko is ranked top 15 on edh top 16, I know slicer can be divisive on its playability in cedh but to each their own

If magda got a sculpting steel instead of the portal he could copy his cursed mirror for a 2nd dockside and make it to 10 treasures.

My best guess was he was trying to be sneaky, he wanted the mirror to resolve originally and made the promise of portal so we wouldn't just kill Magda there and then, and he could the reanimate dockside on his turn to go off

Lootz should have passed the turn instead of attacking into a portal of phyrexia and then passed slicer so he couldn't be sacrificed

Idk if its been said, but when intrebec attacked with slicer with boomstick Lootz should have gottem the treasures not him. Boom stick doesnt give the creature the ability, it just happens when equipped creature deals damage. Even though equipment is attached to slicer being passed around, the equipment is still owmed by lootz.

I just noticed I went from 12 life to 6 when it should have been 7 from the Gush reveal. Either way, winning at 1 or 2 life and surviving all three of those was a blessing 😆

at 10:34 mike should’ve made 5 treasures not 3, malcolm makes 1 treasure and ragavan makes 2 with double strike but malcolm triggers twice because ragavan is a pirate.

Lol guess we are both a bit wrong, it should be 4 as malcolm and ragavan both went at Noah, so first strike ragavan makes 2 treasures and the Mike gets 2 more treasures when normal damage happens

Why was Seedborn Muse on Mikes battlefield after Noah was taken out? I'm not disagreeing but is there a rule to point?

We were not sure if Mike got it back after Noah died, rule wise weren't sure if dauthi casting the creature counted as a control effect which would have seedborn go back to Mike. Although I don't believe this to be the case though

In addition to the Disciple of the Vault targeting a single player Carpet of Flowers also targets a player. It wouldn't have been able to target Hidden and make any Mana as they had Protection from everything from casting The One Ring.

Well if DoV worked like this Ob might actually be a busted deck. Though I fear what pushed monstrosity Marionette Apprentice would have been if this would have been a better version than it is. Well disciple trigger for any artifact and is cheaper so I like it better, as ob doesn't really have many creatures to sac so the extra mana isn't really worth it. I think Noah thought there would be less interaction and ended up just giving him the game though

True we missed that, but griffon was going to dockside loop anyways on his turn so he then can wait till hiddens upkeep and crack a bunch of treasure

I'm curious have you ever tried or have any information about a "cEDH Cube". 😊 I thought I would be fun to build a (proxy friendly) cube so friends can get a first taste of cEDH before building their own deck. And meanwhile I just try to combine my favourite formats.. but it has been difficult. Any advice?

Sounds like fun, but I don't have really experience with cube, I own an old pauper cube but that hasn't been touched in almost 10 yrs. I know mental misplay brings a cube around to most conventions he attends so he might know more

That was a rough one to watch. Hidden got lucky that his opponents were bad. That was Noah and Griffon's game to lose, and they both did it spectacularly.

I think Noah played it correctly, he unfortunately didn't draw into anything good, and he needed to remove Mike's creatures or we would have lost, granted I think he should have gotten tidespout over seedborn

@@DeadOnBoardMTG I agree that Noah should have played the tidespout over seedborn. I do think Noah was too timid in attacking and drawing cards with Tymna and missed draw triggers. Noah should have been over 5 cards deeper off all the draws that were missed or passed on.
